    If it wasn’t for Fred travelling back from South America he would have gone for McFred again. And Sancho is only in because Greenwood has Covid. He has no intention of trying to turn us into a dominant team.

    Talks up Lingard and VdB about getting their chances because they deserve it.

    We get the easiest possibly away game in the world, versus a Watford side that not only struggle to win, period, but routinely lose at home, and still it isn't an optimal enough situation to rotate in VdB and/or Lingard. It's embarrassing. Who are they going to get minutes against? Who the living feck is easier than Watford?
     
    Don't know what's the point of having Mata on bench. You have Lingard and Donny who can play the same position. Should have given some youngsters that place.

    McTominay should be no where near the first team, He would have an occasional blinders but overall we are amputated if he is playing.

    Matic/DVB/Bruno could have been better.
     
    Looking at that bench we might actually get to see a Donny cameo*

    * assuming no injury subs + either side being 3 goals up by the 80th minute

    Tbf I thought shaw was out with his concussion, it's the same set up holland used under van gaal in the world cup of 2014 with sancho in the robben role of being given a freedom to roam behind the striker and technically sancho, lingard, beek and matic are our best fit players to allow us to actually control the game and tempo for once in a blue moon, as for dalot over bissaka, I just don't like bissaka and think he was a huge waste of money.

    Bench Bruno and play Pogba (when he is back)

    Pogba,Matic and Donny would easily keep the ball. That's more than enough against lower sides. It's not like Bruno is pulling trees for not to be benched.
     
    Surely this was a game to give Telles a run out. Shaw has been garbage and is recovering from a concussion.
     
    He doesn't fecking learn does he? At least try something different after getting repeatedly battered. We'll probably win because Watford is garbage and our players are actually good, but even the slight hope that he'd change something isn't there.

    Because a McMatic midfield against Watford is pathetic honestly, you'd think we were playing prime Barca.

    How is Donny not getting minutes with the midfield options we have available. Up there as one of the most baffling decisions I’ve ever seen in football.
