Conspiracy? The first time I've heard this.I'd have preferred Carrick to be a holding player. With Blind not playing I'd have preferred red Carrick to be first point of call for our centrebacks.Normally I'd never choose Rooney. I don't want him anywhere near our first team.
But after the horror show on Thursday, Rooney is an absolute necessity.
As long as he gets an assist/goal (which he has been doing regularly), he must keep playing.

Certainly not Fellaini. Think we need to have either Herrera or Blind in the line up against the weaker teams.
Nice to see Rashford and Martial running the wings, but can see this being a bit of a shiter to be honest.It's important that Martial and Rashford are receiving the ball higher up the pitch. That's been an issue this season.There is no one with composure and ability to pass the ball from the mid. Worried about that and other than that the team looks good though.
I tried to put the last 3 years behind us and during the Summer I succeeded.
Then Thursday happened. No urgency. No desire to score goals. Zombie passing without intent. Just winding down the clock.
