But our players are taking too many touches, not moving the ball quick enough in order to shift Villareal defensively and we need better runs to drag their defenders about.
Villareal haven't offered a great deal, but we are poor at set pieces and they created another chance at our back post that they sliced over before their goal.

There's always room to run into. Maradona would run rings around there entire backline. Yes we dont have maradona but the point im highlighting is that quality can make room. Rashford ran at them the last min and opened them up and then greenwood did the same. Run at them.

No, he's just had the ball more than Bruno and Cavani. That's it. They've done a combined feck all.Can’t get Bruno in the game. This set up is so dated. We could do with a 433, with 3 midfielders in front of their defence with quality on the ball to pass through. Right now Bruno is just stuck in a 1m space between midfield and defence and not in the game at all.

Shaw has been really slow on the ball and Rashford hasn't helped either.This is the problem of Lindelof. He's so reactive, he almost never go towards the ball at all. What was he thinking? Hoping that no one in there? He always like that most of the time. A good striker is always known with their movement and if your centre back is too reactive then they will find space and score.
The Sevilla goal last season was the same, reactive, he doesn't attack the ball but chose to ball watching and hoping no one in there.The touches and ball control during that first 30 minutes were a sheer shambles. McTominay, Rashford and anyone associated with bringing the ball forward didnt look like top level professional footballers.
Why they take so long to warm up is beyond me. Nigh on every first half a wasteanybody else feel like that defensive line is just too high? so often teams run in behind us and get onto the ball first.
