Discussion Your Lineup Prediction

  • This is an unusual weekend as Utd, the 2 clubs within 3 points and just above us and the 3 clubs within 3 points just below us, all play each other.

    WHU v Brentford
    Palace v Everton
    Spurs v Utd

Depending on how the results of these 3 games go, we could end up in anywhere from 11th to 16th place.

Doubt we get that though far to many attack minded players for Amorin that one.

As bad as Spurs are they still manage to score goals.

    Spurs 3-1

Wish I could trick our players into believing they're a goal down at the start of the game. It's the only way they start playing some actual football.

Spurs are vulnerable. Don't start slow and patient against them. Go for it.

Love how we keep putting Dorgu on the left (As I want to see him too) when our manager even mentioned after the game that he likes Dorgu on the right - He clearly wants his wingbacks to invert which confuses me somewhat but it does look to be something he will persist with.

I don't know where the width comes from as we see the 10s push out wide which means we essentially play a 5-4-1 with 10s on the wing and the wingbacks that tuck in which is very odd.

Can't see anything other than a draw best case scenario.

    Spurs have our number.

Rumours that VDV is still out for them

    .. so you’re telling me there’s a chance..

I'm pretty sure that he just indicated that he likes the fact that Dorgu can play both sides.

His quote is below so you are correct but I just worry the fact he mentioned that he's played a lot of games on the right means he prefers him there, I do hope I'm wrong.

"He played a lot of time at Lecce on the right and the left. That is one of the characteristics we pay attention to a lot, to have a player like him.

"The position, you can see in WyScout he can play both sides.

"If you see the history of Dorgu in the last team he played a lot of games on the right.

"We have to have wingers who can play both sides like Dalot. It’s a really important thing.

Spurs last 7 home league games.

    2-1 defeat v Leiceister
    2-1 defeat v Newcastle
    2-2 v Wolves
    6-3 defeat v Liverpool
    4-3 defeat v Chelsea
    1-1 v Fulham
    2-1 defeat v Ipswich

If United don't get at least a draw on Sunday it will say a lot more about United than it will Spurs...

I believe he was asked why he played him on that side which is why he mentioned it.

He may very well play on the right again but given the strong links to Quenda I am pretty confident the plan is for Dorgu to be on the left.

If we make it a stinker of a game we should win, they're very brittle

If we try to go toe to toe with them then I'd pick them to win given they are much better going forward, they've scored a lot of goals despite all their losses where as we look reluctant to even take a shot half the time

0-1 more out of hope than expectation
