The way we are finding space to thread the ball around their box I expect one of Bruno/Erikson to get on the scoresheet. 3-0 or 4-0 FT.

    Cas isn't an 8.

I'm loving Sancho and Antony slowly but steadily getting up to speed. Can't wait for next season already.

Lovely half in terms of result and attacking display, enjoyed it. We definitely have had some issues defensively though , Spurs' best chances have come from their left wing so seems to me that AWB isn't having that great a game. Hope we can fix it in 2nd half.

Another 45 minutes to go. Maybe Malacia for AWB could be good substitution.

Brilliant attacking display. Some of the passes Bruno-Eriksen-Casemiro are putting out there are incredible. And Rashford looks like he has shaken off what was bothering him. Really good decisive play from Sancho for the goal, taking responsibility to make something happen, want to see more of that.

But we have looked a bit suspect defensively. I want us to stop making risky passes in the first two thirds of the pitch and just play it safe in the second half. Really frustrate Spurs and force them to overcommit as the stadium grows more toxic.

As long as we come out of this with no injuries and 3 points I'll be happy. But the potential of a thrashing is there. Let's see if the team decides to take it.

Need to have the composure to finish this off now. No drama needed.

It seems strange that Tottenham only have Højbjerg and Skipp in their central midfield. Here we have 3 key players - Tottenham's midfield is constantly outnumbered. And it's so obvious that even an amateur like me can see it.

Did anyone notice a cross de Gea claimed? It was an aggressive cross claim

I'm begging the lads to come out in the second half with the same attitude they had in the first half. Don't want to see them going into their shell and letting Spurs back in. Should be looking to get that 3td goal as soon as.

Why did Conte burst out and leave? Their league position suggests that Spurs haven't been having a terrible season up until that point. They've just crumbled after him, bit weird IMO

Looking good at the moment but Richarlison has Victor on toast and he is lucky Shaw is covering him as well as doing a stellar job on the left.

I remember Jamie O'Hara on Talksport claiming Spurs won the transfer window last summer.
None of the players they signed is doing well, not a single one
Yeah it's pretty bad, if it wasn't the comically hilarious Chelsea transfers, it would be probably considered the worst.

Not fully happy. If richarlison wasn’t in the worst form of his career they’d have equalised easily.
Not clinical enough but what’s new

This is the kind of game where we could go on to score 4 or 5. They are on their knees

Show a killer instinct. Otherwise it's been a really good away performance so far

Casemiro has been a 5 or 6 at best. He’s been dispossessed a fair amount of times when on the ball.

Who is that man in our goal? perfect distribution today and also saved a high ball (plus one big save). Shaw worls surprisingly well as CB, he is everywhere. Bruno and Eriksen passing very well. Sancho looks lively and Antony i very good(much better without trying his "signature shot" every time). You know it is a great game when Casemiro is our worst player. Can we play Spurs every weak please?

Shaw shouldn't be taking corners, he should be attacking them in the oppos box.

Whether here at CB or defending the back post at LB, he nearly always wins his headers.

Excellent half, but we're a bit vulnerable on the right side with AWB pushing really high. They don't look up for it at all, but they have the quality to sneak a goal and I hope we finish the game early in the 2nd half. Happy to see Sancho and Rashford score as well.

I thought Perisic might be decent for them but he's been the opposite of the player he was previously. Poor decisions, untidy on the ball, not winning battles and poor end product in attack. Watching him tonight it just makes me scratch my head at why anybody would want to play him as a wing back if this is what he's been like. Their options must be terrible for that position.

Shaw looks like a proper Martinez clone in his own third but then has that power to drive forward. If we had purchased him at CB in the summer people would be raving. Small sample size but he looks very accomplished there.

Richarlison getting way too much space down the Spurs left, AwB needs to tighten up! Just need to keep it tight in 2nd half and not do anything stupid. There's a third goal there for us if we're clinical enough.

Nothing fecking sloppy 2nd half same as 1st. Get another goal and realy finish these off please. Come on lads

Honestly, he looks better than Martinez - which is saying something. He's also played there against the best striker in the world too.

Yeah I did notice it early in the game, it's what the old folks called "a parade" when a keeper flies through the air sideways to catch a cross, at least that's what they called it in Yugoslavia back in the day.

Now that you mention it, yeah, he's quite good at winning headers. Or at least the impression I get every time he challenges for it .

Kinda a reminder of evra scoring goals in Ferguson's last season from set pieces

Maybe, but he has been a big part of the big losses United have had in the past 2-3 years. Losing 6-3, 7-0, last year 5-0, 4-0 just doesn't bode well. He seems to go missing when things get tough in the absolute big matches. Anyway not the right thread but he has been excellent today. Just need to continue and win today comfortably.
Varane and Lisandro were a huge part of the 7-0 drubbing as well.

It's because we were pushing up AWB before and leaving a big hole at RB. Which to Richarlison's credit he was taking advantage of. AWB can afford to sit back a bit now.

Hopefully we tighten up on our passing too as mostly it was our mistakes that were leading to Spurs go on the attack. Casemiro in particular looked well off the pace.

Yes - to be clear, I think most of Spurs' chances have come as a result of our own sloppiness in possession. We can afford to be a little more neutral in the second half, which will also hopefully limit their opportunities, too. That said, I also hope we don't sit back completely, but truy to score a couple more!

The yellow for AWB was completely ridiculous by the way. It's like the refs immediately feel the need to compensate whenever they give a decision for us. Other than that Taylor has been fine so far, surprisingly enough.
Taylor pointed it was same as the yellow before for spurs players but it wasn't ,AWB point of contact was with the inside of his upper thigh and not dirty what so ever.

We never score 4 or 5. But definitely shouldn't be content with 2-0 as we've looked suspect in defence couple of times so far.

I think he's one of those who could play several positions at a considerably high level.

I'm not going to be comfortable until we get a 3rd. Especially after being 2-0 up and coasting against Sevilla, only to squander it away in the final minutes.

Sancho has been good. Anthony needs to match him on the right. Rashford wasn't having his best game, up until the goal. So hopefully he gets a taste for it now. Casemiro isn't the same player he was prior to suspension. Hope he can pull it together soon. Where would we be without Bruno? He really does make this team tick.

I don't know about the 0. We could have conceded if spurs wasn't spursing it so far. They've had opportunities.

Thats all they've won, that O'Hara is a tool as well. Let's just beat these and cement top 4

Varane and Lisandro were a huge part of the 7-0 drubbing as well.
Yes, agreed. Shaw has been a very good player for United especially the last couple of seasons and has slotted at CB as well, but with United winning nothing in recent seasons and the pastings we have received the last couple of seasons would be enough for outsiders to not rate him very highly.
