It's fecking Spurs but I hate that we play them right after sacking of Stellini, first game for Mason and they're very motivated to improve after the last drumming. Annoying.

Lots of people have the same expectations as before the Newcastle game, I don't think this will be as easy as suggested

Tbh I've never understood why people bother with the lineups posted in twitter. Google usually post the lineup one hour before the match and one hour should be plenty to come here and complain.

What do you mean? The tweet is also posted by the official United account one hour before kick-off.

Eriksen and Casemiro since comeback have both been way off it. I would have probably played Fred alongside Casemiro considering our away form. Hopefully the midfield doesn’t get bypassed regularly.

This is my biggest worry, but great to see no Maguire. We need our shooting boots on tonight as scoring has become it bit more difficult the past month.
You don’t rest world class players like Eriksen and Casemiro when they’re fit and available. I just think they’re lacking match rhythm. They need consistent game time.

Eriksen will play higher I think whilst Bruno and Casemiro are deeper.

Great to know ETH doesn’t rate Martial
Doesn't rate his fitness. Can't just start him multiple games in a row. He's played the last 4 straight from the start and just did 85 minutes. Reasonable to start Sancho today and use Martial off the bench. Important to have him match fit come the fa cup final.

Maguire not even on the bench, is he injured? I don't see any reports.

Spurs could have gotten the ghost of Rinus Michels in as caretaker and it wouldn't make any difference. They're still poor.

We just have to get ourselves in order and not serve up some of the shite we've seen in a lot of away games lately.

This Porro lad for Spurs have looked seriously annoying (diving, shithousing etc) in all the games I've seen of Spurs lately, feel he's going to be a proper cnut tonight

I mean, starting Sancho ahead of him is a pretty good sign

He's said numerous times he's managing him. Martial just played 85 minutes Sunday after playing 60 minutes 3 days before, plus we have another match in 3 days. ETH doesn't want to tempt fate just yet we are gonna need Martial for the rest of the way.

    What do you wonder?
    Below
Maguire injured or had a paddy because our first choice CBS are both out and he’s still not starting

Could be a coincidence but you never know with modern footballers. Even the great Scholesy refused to play in a league cup game once. Regardless of mine or anyone else's opinion on Maguire i'll be glad when he goes in the summer and we can put all this behind us.

Lots of people have the same expectations as before the Newcastle game, I don't think this will be as easy as suggested

I recall a lot of concern going up against Newcastle. Every opponent in the PL on any given day can take us down, but Newcastle and Spurs are not the same quality of opponent.

About time his extreme clumsiness resulted in his own injury rather than a team mate.

Other than our back line which can't be helped the lineup looks great. Just hope Sancho finds his feet soon.

Regardless of Spurs feeling that new (caretaker) manager bounce, we should absolutely be twatting this lot. They're awful. Hope we demolish them so hard.

Anyone saying this will be easy needs their heads checked

Spurs are one of a few teams that not raise their game at home against us in general so hopefully that continues.

    Sancho stinking up that team.

what does pellestri have to do to get a start.

Spurs are in disarray. Its United’s turn to make an absolute mockery of Spurs :)
