You’re being selective in what you’re picking out; he’s done more than enough to justify his role today. Is it prime Riquelme? No, but in a struggling team just trying to re-establish it’s bearings, it’s been satisfactory.
I'm not saying drop him or anything, it's the mark of a top player to make a difference even when not playing well.
By his lofty standards though, he's been poor today, particularly on the ball.
