Least we're trying something different although there's no pace in that side. Need AWB, Bruno and Shaw to get some crosses into the box.

Going down swinging with the McFred combo. Hope he takes them with him whenever he leaves.

AWB at full back. Back 3, with McFred. It's clear he doesn't want to lose the game. That's it. He doesn't want to win it, just doesn't want to lose. There is no pace or creativity at all in that lineup.

    Of course not.

    I can't wait for 7-0-3. Ground-breaking formation

Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. It will take a perfect record remainder of the season to support Ole. I'll eat my words if we go on and win the prem or champs league. What a delusional fool (or is he being a tool?). He's just hate f-ing our fans at this point. I was Ole in/ Ole doubt until last Sunday but I'm beginning to loath him. Sorry.

This lineup has literally no width. You need decent wing backs and AWB is not that. Might as well have tried Dalot. If spurs have any sense they will just stay narrow.

3 at the back and he plays McFred FFS. What an absolute joke! Why not play DVB or Pogba instead of Mctominay?? In fact, why the feck does Mctom keep on getting starts??

Need AWB and Shaw to keep the width today, otherwise it wont work. Cavani and Ronaldo are a good partnership, but no pace in the team. Only hope is to sit deep, stretch the pitch and put crosses in.

When was the last time we played a back 3? Leipzig away? I'm sure those 5 days training have got the players perfectly prepared. Jesus wept.

Shit just realised Varane in there too. This will be fun. I’m sure no work was involved for this tactic either. Just throw em out there and hope for the best boys
Yeah, just save my job lads, then back to normal next week.

The five man defence has rarely been a success for United but it can't be much worse than the effort of defending by United in recent games.

Be interesting to see how Cavani, Ronaldo both starting fares. A attacking line up for spurs will be looking to exploit Uniteds many weakness.

Playing this formation is obviously a last throw of the dice here. He knows he has no clue and he thinks sticking on an extra defender will make us more solid at the back. I really don’t believe he knows how to utilise this formation at all, as you are going to need effective wing backs, something AWB most definitely isn’t. Our midfield is also piss poor and will probably be exposed. Only save from grace is Cavani starting but will he see the ball?

If the results today stay the same to favour us. We will lose. United almost NEVER capitalise. Every damn time they feck it up. I hope I’m wrong.

Five at the back and McFred? Ffs.

We'll pay for this overly cautious lineup.

We've tried some optimistic lineups lately and it hasnt been working out. Let's see what happens.

I'm really stoked to see Cavani start.

All out defence with all the young players dropped is straight out the Mourinho self preservation handbook

Solskjaer's reluctance to play Sancho and especially Van de Beek even when things have already gone down the shitter, is borderline criminal.

    Favouritism at its finest.

When have you ever seen a team get utterly humiliated and all the culprits keep their place

A year ago we dreamed of a fluid front three - Sancho, Greenwood, Rashford. Hopefully this is just to start well and not concede early on then we can change it.

We've been tonked for nearly 15 goals in the last 4 or5 matches and people here are criticising a defensive team selection.

Shall we play 4-2-4 again and concede another 5 goals? Give me a break.
