I had foolishly hoped that VAR would help cut down on match fixing by cheating cnut referees. This season has proven me wrong. Cheating match fixing cnut of a referee. Shamelessly on VAR as well. Wow. feck me.

I don't blame the ref. As soon as it goes to Var he is left in a position where he can't Ignore the contact without being raked over the coals. Pre var no ref ever gives that, would not even be an issue because we all instinctively understand it is not a foul.

Var is doing more harm than good, the game is simply less enjoyable and further from the amateur game than ever. That is more important to me than a vain pursuit of fairness.

I actually understand the McT goal being ruled out, it sucks but once we saw the replay we all knew because there's accidental contact.
Cavani booking is just amateur refereeing, you're allowed to react to someone diving and Cavani didn't touch his face.

The hope here is we are best chasing and they are crap when ahead so there's a chance we can still win this.
