I think the only way we would get in trouble is an early Spurs lead, then our boys may start thinking to much ("Wait maybe we are not that good at all").
If we score first and keep calm, i think we should win this one easily. Also one week of rehab, fun, sun, smiling, teambuilding and tactic work while Spurs had to play midweek. We have to take that advantage. Win this, followed by a home win vs. Brighton and we are in a really good position to continue the rest of the season.

Team picks it's self at the moment

    De Gea

    Young
    Lindelof
Jones (I know, but we don't really have anyone better right now)
    Shaw

    Herrera
    Matic

    Lingard
    Pogba
    Martial

    Rashford

Lukaku is good to come off the bench if we are chasing the game and need a bit more presence in there, or if we're leading and one of our front 3 is tiring, get him on and he can give us a direct outlet.

I love seeing Lingard, Pogba, Martial and Rashford playing together when they are all on form. It's a joy to watch.

I would agree with that completely. Easy to see where our priorities should lie in the transfer market though. RB, CB and RW are average to say the least.

Is it just me feeling this excitement? Feels like a cup final!

I literally keep checking time and date for this match to happen. Can't wait to see our lads tested by the "mighty" Tottenham.

Kanes’s ability to drop deep and find the runners going beyond him is very difficult to deal with, he really is a complete CF. Highly doubt we’d be able to keep a clean sheet so hopefully we’ll out score them.

We'll probably win then, we all know Spurs don't win cups!

Got to avoid the early bullshit that occurred last time, conceding after 18 seconds or so?

Didn’t even give ourselves a platform to perform.

That midfield of Winks and Sissoko is poor with Skip some academy youngster as backup. Not top four material.

If we can dominate that midfield area we can control possession. Then just have to take our opportunities.

Hopefully Smalling doesn't make it back for this game. Do people still fail to see the issue? Smalling cannot play with the ball at his feet. If we play Smalling we are forfeiting possession from the get go. It is like playing with 10 men. He never makes himself available and spreads nervousness. This is just a fact. He is our best defender. Fact. But he isnt good enough on the ball to be in our starting 11 and should be moved on. We wont get anywhere trying to play out against Spurs press using Smalling.

Pogba juggling the ball over Winks. One can dream.

I think Pogba will be up to the level and he's showing finally how good he is, he will boss the match and we all know the result in such cases.

The thought of those two in midfield for Spurs is making me confident. We should win the midfield battle, i just have reservations about the other two departments.

Defence could be heart in mouths stuff and i still have reservations about our attack. The three of Rashford, Martial and Lingard can all be dealt with.

I have a good feeling about this match and if we win it, I will be very confident about our top four chances.

I don't know what to expect from that game. Spurs didn't look special against solid opposition like Wolves and Chelsea. But then again our defence isn't solid either. It's not unlikely to get a result though. Draw would be good, not ideal but not bad either. Ole's first big test that.

So hyped for this game - annoying that we have to wait until the end of the weekend to get it.

it'll be even more annoying when Phil Jones wangs one into his own net and we're 1-0 down inside of 5 minutes.

Isn't this great? I'm so looking forward to the game even though I think we will get beat.
This time last month, it was all misery .

Even if we loose we'll loose playing the right way. None of this passive parking the bus nonsense!

Since September I stopped looking forward to games and by November I had stopped watching completely but now I'm actively counting the days until we're playing again!

I don't mean to be a knob and English is perhaps a second language for you so your error is understandable. But it's "lose" not "loose".

Hmm. We can win this... tough game though. Tough to call.

We have to move the ball quicker... everyone needs to be on their game.

Have a feeling we may win, which would be a superb result for the club.

But I would take a draw.
