Best performance of the season. We are playing very very well, just lack the goal we deserve.

Seriously, people complaining about falcao... feck right off. His movement has caused havoc in their defensive line. How the feck can you not see that?

This is true. His movement has been very, very good. I don't think it's coincidence that as he returns, Mata seems able to conjure up a few quality through balls for the first time in a while.

I really hope it is not going to be one of those days , but it has that feeling about it. Their keeper has been top class but we have been wasteful as well with some of our chances.

As good a half as we've seen in more than a year away from home.

We're unlucky not to have a goal. Falcao seems to be not too sharp today and is slipping up all over the shop. Might need a change of boots?

A lot of chances created by our forwards. RVP has been sharp but unable to get the final strike. Their keeper has been solid too.

Young has been our most dangerous outlet and has done well but his left footed crosses leave a lot to be desired. Needs to put in more accurate crosses because there is no way our attackers wont get onto the end of at least one.

We are playing really good football but need to be careful of them on the counter and set pieces. You just feel that now we are playing well we will somehow gaffe it, as opposed to when we were playing absolutely shite away from home and hit teams on the counter. Lets hope that's not the case.

We are playing some of our best football in the season. Mata has been simply brilliant, Young too. Doesn't look safe at the back at all though.

Lloris has been immense, but it's Falcao and RVP that didn't make the best out of their chances, shame on them. Should've been better.

P.S. and was our goal wrongly disallowed?

RvP's ignorance of Falcao is pretty cnutish. Just pass the fecking ball. Mata and Young have been great.

Still expect a 1-0 loss with a Valencia own goal after 91 mins.

We are playing excellent, please don't let Spurs nick this one from us footballing Gods!!

Mata had a great first half, creating many chances and being positive in his play. I cannot believe we haven't scored a single goal yet. Some very garbage finishing from our strikers.

I really don't think Falcao has been half as bad as people are making out. Looks knackered though.

We need to get it down on the floor and play this half. Long ball and crossing isn't getting us the goals. Get Carrick more involved, Spurs aren't going forward enough to justify having him babysit McNair.

Very very good half. We've been excellent for most parts. Best away game so far.

Mata has ran the show, great range of passing. Young second best IMO, very good both offensively and defensively. Carrick and Rooney have been solid, as Evans, DDG and Jones. McNair is suspect and prone to errors today, Falcao tries a lot but hasn't gone good for him so far. Valencia has been rather crap, I'd prefer Rafael on for him in the second and RvP has been good today - keeps the ball well, should've scored that opportunity.

When? This game? I guess I missed them.

He has been good, making himself free and almost scored a screamer but his cross is letting him down. Usually it cannot go past the first player.

Off the top of my head, Rooney header and one right on the penalty spot that was cleared

How are we not winning ffs, it happens to be all 3 of our best finishers are having an off day.

    Where art thou Chicharito?!

On a side note, I really do think this is the best I've seen us play in an away game.

We got to get a few goals up before Lamela comes on. Can't see our defenders having much fun against him.

Our two front men need to stop running together in the same direction. It's only worth it if Rooney or Mata runs into the space but that's not happening either

It's a tricky situation, we need to maintain the levels and make sure we are solid defensively because if we can avoid conceding I can see us getting a goal and then another 1 or two following that.

If this were Chelsea playing like this I would expect them to do that because they fill you with confident defensively but our defence is schizo.

Valencia's crossing is a joke. Infact most of his game is a joke. Young is actually playing quite well, some good crosses and some not so good.

Falcao's movement and work rate have been very good but on the ball he has been poor, we should be ahead comfortably and have to wonder if it will be one of those days where spurs will the win despite being outplayed, bit like us against arsenal and Southampton.

    looked correct after the replay.

To be fair for his worst game for us thus far, Falcao is still playing better than RVP was earlier in the season, who was allowed to play his way into form and has paid dividends. Hope the same will happen with Falcao.

I'd be amazed if Van Gaal doesn't make changes -- playing very well, but another game on the 1st, can't afford to have everyone burn out. Interesting how he manages it.

Tottenham have had a few 'situations' too, not completely one sided but we did gain control as the half went on. Probably ought to be in front and ought to win if it goes on like this. But you never know....

We are all over them. Another day we'd be two or three up by now but goals will come if we keep it up.

Young is a revelation. Mata impressive again. Pretty solid at the back.

And those slating Falcao are having a laugh. He's working his socks off, link up play is good, getting into all the right positions. Goal imminent if you ask me.
