Gotta love the officials. Everytime an opposition player is touched by a United player blow. But other way play on. It hurts so much that we are so poor but ref's so bias.

We're playing terribly but I'm not that bothered. It's a cobbled together team with a lot of players who aren't first choice, and the focus in training is almost certainly on the EL final. I doubt we prepared much for this game given that the result really doesn't matter

This is David Moyes kind of bad. Can't remember us playing that bad under LvG
    .
You have a short memory, my friend.
Moyes was terrible. But LVG's style of football was to bore the hell out of the fans and the opposition.

Why are we playing so ridiculously narrow? Average position of our attacking midfield line is almost all inside the center circle.

I didn't know Martial was such a crybaby.

Really don't like Martial. Seem petulant and overly arrogant for someone who isn't actually that good.

Happy to see him move on if I'm honest.

    United 'like rabble'
United are like rabble out there. Daley Blind doesn’t know where to stand for a throw-in, Jesse Lingard is having to be positioned for a corner and the midfield is incoherent, Martial is detached from teammates and some of them look like they could join Rooney in China.

Given the majority of these starters won’t line up in the Europa League you would expect a greater application in an attempt to provide Mourinho with a selection dilemma. This has so far been worse than the Arsenal defeat.

he can feck off just blaming the players here. It's a blatant issue with the set up and lack of proper coaching!

What annoys me is we are losing and and not even in the game, but the tactics are still the same.

We just sit off and try to be compact, Spurs have all the time in the world to walk us backward and suffocate us.

We are at our worst when pressed and Jose fails to see this. We have some of the quickest defenders around, play a high line! Trust the defenders!

I don't get why people are so depressed here. This is a nothing match for us and it shows, both in the team selection and in the motivation. We don't just put out a team of kids because they'd risk getting thrashed by six or seven goals. That's not going to happen with this lot, who'll just play a dire match and probably lose by a couple of goals. If we didn't have anything else to play for, I'd want us to put out a strong side to finish on a high but we've got our most important match of the last few years coming up soon and everything else is utterly meaningless.

We're dumb, they'll just offload Rodriguez and some spare cash for him.

If LVG was still in charge, I'd agree that we'd get a bad deal for DDG.
But I am sure Jose will say "no way" if Real want to buy DDG for a bargain basement price.

Need to go to the tactics and formation vs Chelsea
    DDG
Bailly Jones Smalling (man marking Alli)
Mata Rooney Tuanzebe (man marking Eriksen) Carrick Blind
    Lingard Martial

Totally outclass. I can't believe how bad we are playing. Midfield can't do anything and off course our captain Rooney, worst player on the pitch. Doesn't he has any shame?

I'm absolutely convinced subbing Rooney off and putting someone like Rashford on will lead to at least a 100% improvement in performance.
it's not just rooney. name anyone having even a half decent game: not seen mata except when he was offside. martial is anonymous, carrick is getting his arse kicked and the defence is a bloody joke. as usual lingaard looks as if he shoudl ber playing bowls - talk about a headless chicken

What he's responsible for glaring misses in home games, serious injuries and keeping us in 4 competitions so we accumulated loads of games?

Didn't prepare enough, underestimated the scale of things. If we were going to compete on four fronts and in the most physical league where injuries are bound to happen we should have bought accordingly just in case.

He was late to react with changing gameplans subs, or stubbornly sticks to a long ball tactic just like VG when it wasn't working when we needed to change things up in the draws. Bizarre when he's been here for years and knows the Prem like the back of his hand.. I can understand for VG as it was his first season in England back then.

And on the glaring misses, it's down to him partly. Could have the squad on extra finishing trainings. It looks like they still are shite at finishing even if they did it though.

Of course, all the blame isn't on him. Some should be on the players ultimately.
