    Turn to do goals: Dave
Needs a game for fitness/form: Jones, Smalling, Mata, Martial.
    Missing the final: Bailly.
Too shite to start in the final: Rooney.
    Kid deserving a chance: Tuanzebe.
Players I probably hope to not see start the final: Darmian, Fellaini, Lingard
I'd go with that maybe swapping 1-2 of the last 3 for a kid(s) like Mitchell or McTominay

    De Gea
    Tuanzebe - Jones - Smalling - ( LB from U23 )
    Carrick - Willock - McTominay
    Rooney - Martial - Mata
    0 - 3 loss

Play a full strength side (aka just play Pogba) or we will get thrashed.

The only game that matters is 10 days later. I wouldn't be against playing a strong lineup in this game.

If we win, it keep top 4 ever so slightly open as a possibility (and puts pressure on City). If we lose, it doesn't matter anyway. If we tire ourselves out, we've got a week and a half to recover.

Zero shits given, we've fumbled away top 4 a few matches ago.

Play the kids and let the main men rest for the EC final.

Giving Jones and Smalling is important for them to restore their sharpness. We'll play for one of them if not both.

Should start both over Bailly. I'll play Bailly against Palace to rest the one who's going to start with Blind if Jose decided to play the final.

Are we really not going to turn up for this? Wont be a U23 team as many think.

    De Gea
    Tuanzebe - Smalling - Jones - Darmian
    Carrick
    Mata-Rooney-Pogba-Lingard
    Martial

Pogba should be wrapped in cotton wool till the final. Should never play any game of the remaining 3 ones in the league.

Think Smalling and Jones as they need football....some others need a serious rest.

Do we have to play this?

Mourinho pointed out that Ajax are done after the weekend where as we have yet another 3 more games. Not getting to the FA cup final, blessing.

We do but lets face it it will be a U18 squad against Palace.

As long as we don't pick up any serious injuries and as long as it's not a total thrashing I don't really care about this to be honest.

Although maybe this is the last league game we put out a decent side for and we rest for the other 2? What would work better?

Spurs should comfortably win. Just hope the twats don't let the occasion of playing the last game at WHL get to their heads and revert to their thuggish nature.

Rotate heavily; as many as we can rest from tonight should be rested, they can play against Southampton to keep them ticking-over but after that then they are done with the league - no where near the Palace game certainly.

Unless players are older or injured, I would think that it would keep them sharper to play once a week rather than have a two week break. Also if Chelsea beats West Brom, maybe Spurs won't play that hard. It's not inconceivable that Liverpool loses to West Ham and Arsenal loses to Chelsea... putting fourth place back in play if we beat them.

How does Arsenal losing the FA Cup final to Chelsea help us with 4th place?

I suppose the second string with some exceptions from the least tired players will start this game, and then the team for the final against Southampton, with a Nicky Butt team combo facing Crystal Palace.

I Would love it if we could spoil the party but the final has to be our priority. Play a mixture of youth and senior players and hopefully not lose. Tuanzebe should get another start, Rooney should remain on the bench.
    What party?

I think we will - not just because it's the last ever game at WHL, but also because 2nd place - which is not yet guaranteed - would make a significant difference to Spurs' slice of the TV money (from the CL) next season as shared between the qualifying Prem teams.

How much extra would 2nd to 4th make for spurs?

I believe it's a 40% share for the league champions, then 30% for 2nd, then 20 then 10, which would mean it'd be 0% for United if they qualify via being EL winners .

Offhand I don't know how much extra cash that would translate into for the CL group stages.

Will be a relatively strong team. While we don't want the players to be burnt out, we should also keep them sharp for the EL final. Play them but just once a week will do.

He won't rest everyone, this game isn't as crutial for rest as the Palace game is. Pogba isn't as tired as he was a few weeks ago, I expect him to start.

Martial now has 3 games in quick succession to try and save his season / United career.

    DDG

    Axel T Jones Bailly Blind

    Carrick

    Pogba Fellaini

    Mata Martial Rooney

Might as well make this Carrick's testimonial.
LOL and really rub it in - they lose the title fight officially tonight and then they get shown what a great player looks like, the irony being they made him what he is and 'gave him' over

Is that Levy or the players who would gain that money?
