Got a 7 am flight tomorrow, so will miss the game.

Can't decide whether to follow it on in-flight wifi with text updates, or whether I should watch the highlights once I land without knowing the score.

We should start with the same 11. This is what you do when you win games. If Jose messes with the line up he messes with the winning mentality.

I hate when we're the early game. Its hard to wake up 7:30am on a saturday morning. Anybody ever notice we rarely ever play 3 o'clock games on saturday?

It's crazy... probably our furthest away trip of the season along with Southampton and they make it a 12:30 kick off.

Been up since 6am and the train journey to Swansea is over 4 hours long.

It's going to be 9:30pm for me here in Australia, an absolute dream. Normally I have to get up at 1 or 2am to watch a match live.
Here in Finland it's +2 hrs to England so all kick offs are quite nice. Saturday late kick offs at 7:30pm

On the plus side for anyone driving from the north west to Swansea, the drive through Wales is beautiful. One of my favourite journeys.

    What blackout?

    Everything ok?

    Sorry should have been clearer.

In this country none of the sports channels are allowed to show live Saturday 3pm KO games.

It is to encourage people to go out and watch their local non league teams and the like, rather than staying in to watch PL.

This is referred to as the blackout.

It's a bit controversial as the British actually have less access to live coverage of their own league than virtually any other nation on the planet (well those that broadcast PL anyway).

As United are such a big draw for TV, Sky and BT (our two main broadcasters) will always try to ensure our games are not on Saturday at 3pm. Though due to television quotas (every team needs to be shown live a certain number of times per season) we will still play then occasionally, usually for a less desirable home fixture to Watford or something.

Quick question, why does the score prediction run up to 5?
I can see us scoring more than that this season

You're not wrong... beautiful part of the UK. Scenery from the train through Wales is pretty good too.

I've got a feeling Martial might start and we could see a midfield 3 of Matic, Pogba and Herrera and I don't think this will be an easy game, I'm sure this lot have given us a few tricky games over the last couple of seasons.

I'm sorry lads but I've set Lukaku to my fantasy team captain so no doubt he'll have a nightmare today.

    3-0 Utd hopefully.

I'm hoping for the exact same starting XI today, we should boss the midfield and be far to fast for the Swansea defenders.I'm going for a 2 goal winning margin which hopefully includes a clean sheet.

Won't be hard at all. Swansea will be bricking it. They'll be defensive the entire game but just get steamrolled. We'll win by 5 goals.

 'the blackout' didn't sound good at all.

    Love the confidence I think it'll be 3-0 but wouldn't mind a 5-0

I haven't been this excited to watch us play for quite some time.

Same 11, with Herrera getting a bit of game time second half.
    2-0

Lets score good amount of goals with the lesser oppositions we have at the start, build some momentum and a goal difference advantage at the start.

Same team last week, free flowing stuff, Would also like martial to get more minutes today, take off mata at half time and put rashford on the right.

I thin herrera as of now should sit on the bench to go some chemistry going between pogba and matic for the time being. we need confidence for attacking players going into the season.

Really hope we put on another excellent performance and last week wasn't another "false dawn"

This is a real taste of our ambitions and quality. Swansea look set to struggle this season and nothing but a "good" win will be acceptable if we rally want to mount even minor challenge for the title (ie one that goes past Christmas). This is the sort of game champions should stroll through. Strangely, I am more confident than I was last weekend, but history proves that is not always a good thing for me!

Plays into our hands. We were consistently good at getting those 2-0 away wins under Jose last season despite our awful finishing. I expect us to collect a lot of points away this season as well.
Starting with this game. Should be a routine win.

    Spot on.
The away games did not worry me too much last season. It was our home form that gave me hassles. We kept drawing games we should nail at home.

That's why I was so excited last weekend with the way we hammered West Ham. If we become ruthless at home again, then the rest of the EPL should be very afraid.

But of course, we still need to do very well away to be able to fight for the title.

Watching highlights without knowing the score makes no sense to me when United is concerned.

They seem to have been extremely fortunate to get away with a point last week. Southampton absolutely battered them in the stats (60% possession vs 40%, 29 shots vs 4, 13 corners vs 0).

Hopefully they used up all their luck that game and we get another nice win.

I would like us to play the same team as last week but with Martial in for Mata and Rashford going to the right.

I had 11/11 once. Then someone was injured in the warmup and the lineup changed.

I think the majority are predicting the same lineup this week. There really is no reason for Jose to change. If he does make a change the only change I could see is Herrera coming in for Mata and Mkhitaryan being pushed out wide. With my prediction luck, he'll keep MF the same, drop Mata for Martial.

Good luck with your 11/11 today.

Hoping for the same line up but if changes are made I also can see Herrera in for Mata and Mkhi out to the right.

The line-up predictions are becoming a bit harder to predict which is a good thing because it shows that the squad is much more competitive and there are good choices for the majority of the outfield positions.

    I agree.

I have a feeling Mkhi and Martial are going to step up a gear this season, hope so anyway as both are class when confident and on their game.

I'm confident I'll get 11/11. I see the same line up with Herrera coming in for Mata. Mou would probably like to play a 3 in midfield away. Then again I've seen him play with 2 away last season, so there's that.

I must say I admire your confidence – fair play.

If changes are made, I can see the same line up with three in the middle and as you say Herrera in for Mata. However maybe also Darmian in for Blind though I hope I am wrong on this point. I just think there are goals in this for us and Blind to me, links the play from the back going forward better than Darmian.
