I'd think so too. I hate Crouch though. He constantly does that thing where he leaps for a header by pushing down on the defenders shoulders, and always gets away with it. I can see him nodding in a header by climbing up Jonny Evans like a ladder.

This line-up reeks of a preference for 3-5-2.
Rafael has to be way more match fit than Shaw. LvG has decided to start with Shaw and still kept Rafa.
He used to say that he had to play 3/5 at the back due to no full backs being available. Today, he has our first choice CBs and full backs available. Yet he is going for 3-5-2. Makes me unhappy.
Can this be a 4-2-3-1 with young on the right or left wing and Smalling at RB, due to his height?

Maybe he doesn't want to risk both. So has gone for the better defender, which is Shaw.

I don't think he looks kes a midfield two of rooney and Carrick. So maybe he wants three cbs behind them.
