    Yeah.

He scored a great free kick.. still a player we need to be looking to replace in the near future.

Not disgreeing, just the adjectives some people are throwing around. I've seen people call Pogba garbage, saying we'd do better with 10 men rather than Rooney, that they are logging out safe in the knowledge that we have lost after Lingard and Rooney came on.

Rooney might not be good enough for a team of our aspirations going forward, but why do people feel the need to insist on describing everything in terms of shit/world class all the time?

You are all pointing at Rooney, but imo, Ibrahimovic is effectively like playing with 10 men. Yes, he gets the goals, but other than that, he just stands around. This team will be formidable with Martial and Rashford in every time.
He hasn't been that involved this game, but your statement is just way of. He's been involved in pretty much everything we create.

I had a feeling that he was going to score from the freekick, due to the angle of it. I knew he was just going to whack it right hard, since he does not have the technique to cross it well or place it on the upper top corner. By whacking it hard, there would be a chance that it would go in by deflection or go straight through everyone.

Going to wear my Rooney jersey when I'm at OT to honor his achievement.

A draw is still shit but I'll take the point on pool. City lose today, makes our game against them that much more intense. Fact is there will be more upsets on the cards across the top 6. We just need to learn our fecking lessons from dross days like today, if we are ever to salvage this season.
A point on Pool isn't all that due to GD. They still need to lose 1 draw 1 for us to overtake. We needed the 3 after seeing that they had already lost.

Do refs not have to add on time for subs and goals in injury time? Why blow up instantly at 5 minutes. I couldn't give a fk about Rooney breaking the record we needed to win that game.
Cause Clattenburg. Knew he wouldn't give us feck all.

What a free kick though! No matter how one feels about him lately, stylish way to get that 250th goal!

Well that was a horrible game, only save by a wonder goal from Rooney, truth be told we did not deserve anything from that game, we had a chance to go out and really get a result and we choose to just not turn up, even with the idiot ref not give 2 stonewall pen , we should of won that game we had the chances but did not put them away. Stoke got lucky with an own goal and them did nothing for the rest of the game.
We scrapped a point and were luck to do that

What a way to break the record well done Rooney! Great free kick!

Shit loss of 2 points but at least we didn't lose I guess:(

Exactly, people shouldn't leave that (great) free kick take away from what was otherwise a poor cameo. Which is pretty much the norm for him these days.
Is it really too much to just enjoy a fantastic achievement for a few seconds?
It's obvious that we were poor today and that Rooney is past it, but he broke the record with a fantastic goal that may well prove decisive come season's end.

Great performance shit result, story of our season, we need some xFactor to push draws into wins.

Two points dropped I'd say. Even in the midst of a relatively poor attacking performance ,we still created enough chances to have won that game.

Problem is people keep saying we're still in for top 4, this is about the 6th time this season we've thrown away the opportunity to really put pressure on the top 4, what's to say we won't balls up again (cos we will)

Brilliant goal Wayne, what an achievement, and very happy Bobby was there to see it. A good achievement to draw at a perfectly horrible venue. Very deserved, team showed guts and togetherness.
