I got 15 and 16 the last 2 matches, now 9/11. I thought he would drop Rooney for this match.

People need to start considering these matches as pre-seasons one. We aren't playing any tactics or for results, just giving players some time + giving those returning from injures chance to get fit.

If DDG isn't playing against or Palace or in europa final ( which we know he isn't) and he's off to Madrid you may as well leave him out of the squads. Let him finish the season early and tie up his affairs and sort his move back home out. Good managing by Jose IMO.

On the other hand DDG could of said yes, I'm staying another season and Jose has said "sweet you're not in the final because Romero is our europa keeper so take some time off" who knows....

Here's a stat: Only Old Trafford has witnessed less PL goals this season (36 goals, 24 for, 12 against) than St. Mary's (37 goals, 17 for, 20 against).

Two weeks is not too long. They'll also be playing in training. Considering the injury jinx this season, I prefer we wrap up out key men for next Wednesday. Let them be as fresh as the Ajax boys.

You realise that Lingard has played more minutes than them recently? Also, Mata needs the minutes since he was out injured. Additionally, Martial and Mkhitaryan have been underpar recently.
