    Just noticed. During their goal AWB did again something what he is doing a lot lately.
    He was just jogging back and because of that his player was first on the ball.
    Shaw never does that. And full back, especially who is "best defensive FB in PL" should be concentrated 100% all the time.
    That was rubbish defending
     
    Players like Rashford, lingard build their career on purple patches and then play longer and prosper. If we ever want to build a consistent team then more than a "sometimes" world class player we need predictive consistetly performing players.
     
    Fred has been excellent at winning the ball back, Martial excellent at holding the ball up and winning free kicks.

    For all of Sevilla's pressure, we look dangerous whenever we break and Rashford, Martial and Greenwood should have done better with their opportunities.

    Looking for Pogba to improve in the second half as aside from that superb pass to Rashford at the end of the half he has looked laboured and timid.
     
    I think Lindelof and AWB are most at blame for that goal. When in doubt just give a tactical foul. We seldom do that.
     
    We've not been ruthless in key moments the whole season and todays no different. The 2nd goal wouldve made it very hard for Sevilla to comeback.

    Instead we're wasteful when it looks like Sevilla want us to score.
     
    We have goals in us tonight, when it clicks we go up a gear and it’s noticeable. Martial is doing some great hold up play too.
     
    Very frustrating so far, it should be 1-0 United at half time that Sevilla goal was a United throw in and Sevilla could be down to 10 men for that awful challenge on Rashford for the penalty.

    20 something goals in a season with a big injury... he is well out of form, but we just need options for this situation, rather than just be forced to play the same players every game, especially with one of the youngest forward lines in the world
     
    That was a poor goal to concede. We allowed them to get behind us so easily. The defence was positioned well when the move started, but every one of them seemed to get suckered into pushing up and allowing someone to run off of them.

    And I think his lack of confidence is being mistook for laziness.

    There's absolutely no question over how much effort he's willing to put in. I think you can just become shackled by fear and its definitely happened to Rashford after a string of poor performances
     
    Starting to think we need a CDM who can simply break up the play and recycle the ball to feed Pogba and Bruno. A player like Carrick.

    Not sure who there is for that role at a reasonable price.

    In any case, exciting half against a very good team.

    A fair reflection of where we are without signings. About as good as Athletico & Seville.

    It was. I dont think he is fit, he has looked tired for weeks IMO
