Makes no sense to have him travel for the game and not for him to start the game. I think he will, let's wait for the official lineups

I agree, but all this pre-match chatter usually end up being correct so close to KO.

Moyes got us out of the group stage. Our worst manager in at least the last 30 odd years.

    True.
Let's not forget, that he also got us "out" of the CL, the following season, by finishing 7th. His failure is what kick-started the lack of CL football in the later stages.

If Pogba doesn't start this one then the rumours of a rift seem true. There is no way Paul misses this if Jose trusts him.

I know I'm just saying that once you are in it getting out of the group stage is not always that big a deal, even Moyes could do it. The big thing is getting to the latter stages, semis and beyond.

I will wait for team sheet. If we all hate it, I will be optimistic. If we all like it, will watch other game, whoever is playing.

It really is quite amusing that we tend to play horribly when the Cafe likes the team selection.

Really hope this is wrong. If Morinho really fell out with Pogba, I'd really rather have Pogba at his pick than Morinho and his stuborn tactics.

It shows just how bad the managerial choices have been since SAF retired.
It's taken us all this time to get a manager capable of getting us past the group stages, in the CL.
I really do hate to say this but Moyes got us to the quarter finals.

But i get your point and agree.

Imagine we don't get a good result.
The criticism would be epic and rightly so.

Will be a big game for Scott today. Good luck for the lad doing his best.

The Pogba not being fit enough to start is BS.
He's had three day of training without any problems.

I'll support the lads out there - Scott and everyone else but I'm already prepared for a long night. Hope everything goes as smoothly as possible.

He deserves it. Has been on thin ice for a while, Sevilla tonight and Chelsea on the weekend. He needs to start delivering big wins on a consistent basis. Under his watch we look like a yo-yo club. Don't know what team will turn up. February into his second season and he is still faffing about with his XI and formation each game. This is why every game under Mourinho is difficult. He has not figured what system he wants, and that leads to dire performances like the ones we saw vs Spurs & Newcastle.

There is no way United is better without Pogba. It is just ridiculously bad decision. It is easy to fall out with a player. Jose should have chosen the other way. I am furious with this tbh

Pogba not playing would be weird as his 'illness' didn't seem too bad.

However, I don't actually care who plays or not, I just want us to put in a good performance and get a result.

    I'll take a poor performance and a 1-0 win.

Pogba or no Pogba, i´m not expecting a big performance from us anyway. We´ve performed horribly lately. Not sure why that would magically change today.

Obviously a 3-1 away win on the cards.

Including a Lingard thunderbastard ~15 minutes after the Caf decides he genuinely needs nuked from space.

Well Lukaku never shines in big games....

Although Sevilla aren't the best of teams so maybe he will do ok. Still rather he didn't start as he only plays well against poor teams.
I definitely think there's valid reason to question whether he can win a match on his own in the big games but I can't think of any of those matches where he was wasting chances either. We've either been bad as a unit or timid as one in the big matches.

If we create a couple of decent chances for him, I think he'll score today.

This will definitely work. I can’t see anything going wrong with this.

If he doesnt play, I think its the case of manager telling the player who the boss is. I would support the manager in that case as he has to be the most important man in the club. If he lets Pogba off easily, what is stopping Lukaku/martial or anyone else doing the same. He is basically saying its my way or the highway. The message went across to Martial and shaw and Pogba deserves to be treated no differently.

Got a couple of beers in for tonight. Disappointed to see Pogba probably being left out. BBC have it on their page that Herrera, Matic and McTominay are likely to start. I don't know, it's disappointing. I can't say that Pogba's performances have been excellent but he's one of our best players, and to not have him starting in a crucial game for us is a worry.
