    That was certainly a yellow, but this ref has been a breath of fresh air. Done well so far and let the game flow. Much better than anything I’ve seen in the premier league for months now.

    Cavani in recent games was visibly frustrated with it too.
     
    How the feck were this lot top of the table a few weeks ago. They're awful. Is La Liga really that bad without Messi and Ronaldo propping it up?

    Needs to get used to that 9 position in the first team. We need to play him more there
     
    I feel like we’re going to miss more chances in the 2nd half and then Sociedad will sense an equaliser and we’ll shit the bed in the dying embers of the game.

    Couldn’t disagree more. One yellow card doesn’t change the fact the ref has been excellent so far.

    Just variance at the start of the season and some defensive solidity.
     
    A good half of football I thought. Both teams playing quite well with a few chances each. Rashford should've probably scored one, but we're looking fine so far.

    Most of the teams in La Liga are crap but these have played some nice stuff tonight bit harsh.
     
    Good first half. Should be up more than 1. Nice to see a keeper who controls his area. I heard him yelling for the ball. Also that cross that Henderson got fouled on coming for the ball would have been watched by the other guy...

    Right outside their box to, if that's not obstructing a player in an advantageous position, I don't know what is.
     
    Been an OK game, we should be more than one up, Rashfords finishing inconsistent as usual. He'll miss two sitters then score a banger. McTominay absolutely bossing the midfield, wonder if he'll come out in the second half after that knock.

    AWB unlucky to be booked, considering Monreal hasn't been booked. We're still lacking composure at the back, but we've been the better team.

    Still not clicking for James, looking good for Amad to get some minutes.

    Decent half. We'd be comfortable if our strongest team was playing. Heck, we'd be 2-0 ahead if Cavani was playing. Sociedad aren't all that and with them being desperate in the second half we should have at least 1 more away goal. Wish Rashford would put some elevation in his finishes. Thought McT had some bright moments and Bruno is well, being Bruno.

    He doesn’t even look up to see runners , it’s head down because I think I’m Lionel Messi . Selfish overrated player

    I think his heads just got too big. He’s shown very good playmaking ability in the final third but he constantly gets his rear kissed and he knows he won’t be dropped or even subbed.
     
    Enjoyed the attacking play, Rashy needs to find his finishing boots though

    Wish every team we played were this open against us :lol:
     
    Dan James is actually having a decent game. Rashford's general play has been good, but his finishing is way off, Greenwood tends to seem a bit lost when playing CF in the men's game - almost like he doesn't want a battle with centre halves
     
    If a chance requires rashford to think instead of just smashing the ball as hard as possible, he'll miss 8 out of 10

    Agreed. We need to give Henderson a run of games. Bailly since the Spurs debacle has been brilliant in every game he’s played.
