What is this? So much United bias.

De Gea is the only player who is definitely better. You can make a case for Lukaku based on Benzema's patchy form last season. The rest are all better, including the clearly overrated Pogba.

Well, he said if you use the Liverpool calculator... which i assume means, if you're as deluded as many scousers who think they have the best team in the league at the start of every season.

You will have egg on your face when Salah delivers The Treble.

Not if you do it using the Liverpool calculator...

    De Gea > Navas
    Bailly > Varane
    Lindelof < Ramos
    Valencia > Carvajal
    Darmian < Marcelo
    Matic > Casemiro
    Herrera < Modric
    Pogba > Kroos
    Mkhitaryan > Isco
    Lukaku > Benzema
    Martial < Ronaldo

    We win.
    6/11.

Not even sure the Liverpool calculator could have Mkhitaryan over Isco

I was all confident about this until they announced Ronaldo would be in the squad (and I suspect starting)

You see, I joke but I definitely think you're doing our team a disservice. The only players clearly better than their counterparts are De Gea, Marcelo, Modric and Ronaldo. The others, there's very little in it and could swing either way.

    Bale, Ramos and Varane ?

 He's clearly joking. Liverpool calculator, come on.

There's quite a substantial amount in it. We are a 6th place PL side for a reason. They are the first team to retain The Champions League for a reason. Two of their backup players are now going to be key players at Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Valencia is one of our better players, yet Carvajal takes a massive dump on him.

I'm hoping for an entertaining penalty shootout! :)

How do we expect Real Madrid to lineup?

That Real team without Ronaldo are beatable. They have a great midfield, but it's not like Kroos, Modric and Casemiro would walk all over Pogba, Herrera and Matic. Lukaku is better than Benzema at this moment. Miki does not have the same technical ability as Isco, but he can offer other strengths. Their fullbacks and CBS are clearly better, but Jose is a defensive oriented coach and can setup a good defensive plan.

    Keylor,Carvajal,Ramos,Varane,Marcelo,Modric-Casemiro-Kroos,Asensio-Benzema-Bale or 442 with Isco,Benzema,Bale

    Thank you.

Very strong team, even without Ronaldo, although a part of me still expects him to play.

And Carvajal makes less money than Valencia, at €60k per week. While Marcelo who pisses all over our LB options is on €80k. And yet they're happy to stay at Real Madrid despite the fact they could earn a lot more elsewhere. You have to envy the bastards at RM a little bit.

Yes,me too.Zidane said that he is fit like in the C.L final so its not impossible.Probably Benzema will help him with a shit first half and he'll come in the second

Their midfield pisses me off even more. They literally have about 8 quality central options to choose from.

I'd put my bet on the 442 mainly because i believe Zidane will be expecting a three man defense and an enhanced midfield from Mourinho but we'll see.

Anyway, is there a general feeling for this game coming from the Spanish press? Are you primed and ready to go all guns blazing for the win tonight or is Zidane more concerned about the two legged clash against Barcelona that's just around the corner? Barcelona, under a new manager and after the Neymar saga, must be sharpening their knives for Sunday's game.

Considering some have Barcelona as an equal team at best to Liverpool, we can safely assume thar Micky would be considered way better than Isco if he was playing for Liverpool.

It's probably weird, but Asensio is the one player I fear the most tonight. He looks like the part.

Zidane was caught talking to the team and he repeated several times "we are physically great,it's all in the head" so I'd say that they know that they lack more work in that aspect

A trophy is a trophy and Madrid will go with everything but I think that losing spanish Supercopa would be more painful

I like to add new english words in my vocabulary, so when I found some I don't undestand, I google it. But sometimes I understand even less...

    tatering
The act of sitting outside from midafternoon until morning drinking, smoking, and dipping.
Tatering is the best way to spend a lazy day.
For me, and it may be something local to me, a tatering is a heavy defeat...it's by no means proper English...

Tatering, Dicking, twatting, battering, all the same meaning...

A 'tatering' I think comes from the derivative of potato's i.e. a tater. Basically saying we will get smashed like a potato I think. I could have completely made that up.

Edit: Infact I did make that up but it makes sense to me and is my understanding.
