    Martial is one of those players who gets better and better the longer he's out injured, sort of like Lucas for Liverpool ten years ago.

    But that's why you put blinkers on them, otherwise they can be distracted since they have excellent peripheral vision. Nice try though.:p
     
    Really struggling to watch this snooze fest.

    I've been playing on my phone more than watching this at this point its background noise.

    It really isn't. There is no need of 3 CBs + a defensive WB against Partisan. Also we only have 1 forward upfront and he has just returned from injury. I still think we will win but it will be despite our tactics rather then thanks to them

    My favourite phrase in last couple of months is as one guy in united podcast said: "feck passion, give me technique". McT is a fighter, playing with heart, useful in some situations and games and i want him in this club and i like having him around but him being first 11 player is not good for our future.

    Add Lindelof, Shaw, Tunazebe, Pogba, Rashford, and James to that team (in place of the obvious) and this setup may produce results.

    I expect him to do more than control every other pass coming his way. Are you even watching? He’s much better than this.

    Edit: I’m starting to understand the irritation with Martial FC. I’m a huge Martial fan ffs... Can still see when he’s not up to task.
     
    So far my feeling to not be excited about this one ahead of time is completely justitied. But some of you cnuts convinced me to watch it anyway. I don't like you right now.

    I understand this but the big major issue is we have to use the second string side in the Europa League. Because we didn’t sign enough players we are having to use a mash of players who really aren’t good enough and youngsters with no first team experience.

    In an atmosphere like this it always smells trouble.
     
    How often does Maguire give away a free kick in the opposition penalty area?

    Myst be at least 3-4 times every game.

    We've been fine controlling the play in longer patches against a hostile crowd. The players have ample opportunities to get at Partizan as they transition, but they haven't shown the quality to do so yet. That's not related to the formation, but the players in it. Lingard and Mata seem pretty shite so far.
     
    Hardryer needed at half time. Just wondering who would do it as Ole should also be at the receiving end

    Be careful writing anything slightly negative about Martial. His fans will come at you with pitchforks.

    The creativity of the excuses they come up with is something our team could use badly right now.
