Need some classic jammy set piece goals I think tonight.
They scored one from a corner where Matic lost his man and one where Bailly was too slow (Mbappe was too quick) to react. Apart from that they only had one real chance where DDG saved from Mbappe. Seeing as how we have our full strength defense, I'm not unduly worried about PSG giving us a pasting. Its scoring that is going to be the problem. And being a gloomy gus even before the match has started doesn't help anyone. You think that we can prevent PSG from scoring tonight?
At OT, they scored 2. In Paris (without Pogba, Matic, Herrera), I expect them to score more than 2.
You sure? @Sassy Colin was just giving me sass for my lack of originality?
I have few euro on us making it to next round and I also think it’s a bit high, but then again - everything suggests we will be out tonight, so it’s a very long shot. I remain hopeful, thoughJust checked - bookmakers give a 17x coefficient on Man Utd to qualify for the next round. Isn't seventeen times a bit high?
Oh yesNeed some classic jammy set piece goals I think tonight.

That's my thought. Get out there and swarm them.Exactly so, and I want our young players to be like a swarm killer bees around Veratti.

Have you measured the task in hand? No team has ever overturned a 2 goal deficit from the first leg at home. United are without most of the first choice midfielders/attackers. PSG are formidable at home, you don't just go there and beat them by 2+ goals.
We will be lucky to get a draw on the night, never mind beating them by 2 goals which will require a monumental effort. 17/1 gives an implied probability of 5.5% which still sounds a lot if you look at the circumstances.
They're all crocked. The lot of them.Any news on players returning from injuries?
Ok...just keep in mind that I'm only an hour and a half away and love me some curry
Transfer all your wealth to me.
Win or we are going in the next round?
It would be very tough game even with all the injured/suspended players available. Not sure how OGS will actually approach this game, his team practically picks itself due to a lack of numbers. DDG might be in a for busy evening, but I think probably the most United fans can ask is the players go out and give a good account of themselves. This is going to be tough to watch i feel. If we could get a draw it would be decent. They are going to be all over us i feel.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but the weather forecast in Paris tonight is rain rain rain. Hopefully it's good luck omen for us mancs
It's pretty incredible that in the Champion's league, no team has ever overturned a 2 goal deficit. I get that it's a big lead, but not insurmountable in any way. I was really surprised to read this.
It was said in jest. People claim Manchester as the place with the most rain ever despite itself being not even in the top 5 wettest places in the UK. For some reason people associate rain with Manchester.Rain in Paris isn't exactly rare, it's not the south of France.
Jammy set-pieces, penalties, offside goals (that count), own goals, I'll take the lotNeed some classic jammy set piece goals I think tonight.

I am exactly the same, can we do what Ajax did last night? god I hope so...sigh, the closer to the game the more unreasonably, stupidly hopeful I am.

Correct! Its incorrect. 2 goal deficits have been overcome. What hasnt been done is coming back after losing by 2 at home
My day hasn't been busy at all, so unfortunately that's all I've been thinking about all day , hoping for a bit of luck and some jammy goals/decisions.I’m excited for this now, had a busy day thankfully so not much time to think about it.
Nerves are kicking in now similar feeling of optimism as going into the first leg.
I really hope we can get a first half goal
That bench is terrible. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ole as one of the subs.Due to the number of injuries and Pogba’s suspension, I just cannot see us getting anything tonight. Hopefully I am proved wrong as you can never write off Utd but it’s just going to be extremely tough.
