Bruno MOTM I would say. Strong performances as well from Eriksen and Lindelof, who was a calming influence throughout. Casemiro also did ok.

Dalot and Antony delivered some crucial moments, and deserve credit for that, but their general play was sloppy too often.

Martial did well in the first half but faded. WW was utter bobbins, looks like a fan who won a competition to play a game for United.

I didn't, I said he was class. His detractors slag off his distribution and him not coming for crosses/leaving the box enough. Thought he did really well in those things today.

The same Sanchez who has recently been on the bench for Brighton? And frankly using national team pecking order is a bit fraught given that Fred seems to occupy a similar level of influence to Bruno Guimaraes with Brazil, and I think we both know who we'd prefer in our midfield. I like Navas - the saves he made today reminded me of....De Gea, who routinely makes such saves. I'd take Alisson, Ederson and Ramsdale over DDG but the rest are extremely debatable.

I've been worried about our top 4 chances for weeks now but this weekend pretty much sorted it for us, and considering the result against Sevilla, we were always going to get a fully focused, no complacent performance today so I wasn't worried at all.

Fully expecting them to drop off against Spurs after winning a few on the bounce, this second string don't have the required mentality to be consistent.
