We just have too many players who are sloppy on the ball and that's why we're never in complete control of games. I'm not worried about Forest scoring though.

Dalot can't come back fast enough, AWB is just atrocious on the ball.

Almost let that game get away from us in the middle of the half, but reeled it back in. Hopefully the players get their composure back after the 2-0 and just kill the game in the next 20 mins. Really happy for Weghorst, proper poacher's finish that. Antony really should've scored his chance, would've been magnificent.

Lost control for a while there but plenty of attacking threat. Wout excellent, that's exactly the sort of game I was hoping for from him, very neat, lovely touch, once there's good movement around him, we'll create plenty. Wan B and Lindelof back to pre Ten Hag mode and we look ridiculously open at times but you feel we'll score again.

hell, he ain’t even that dangerous in the air considering he is a giant.

but he is Mark Hughes… Dwight Yorke… maybe even Eric Cantona levels of elite with his back to goal. Every time we whizz the ball into his feet, within one or two touches someone is through on goal.

a very very accomplished link up player who is gonna create bags of chances for those around him.

Lazy half defensively but Forest have been wide open on the counter, was only a matter of time before Utd scored again. Bit too easy has maybe contributed to the sloppiness, though Gibbs White needs watching.

Antony much more threatening tonight, still not looking creative for others but giving enough tonight.

Like I said, I haven't been watching him closely, only when he's on the ball really, but for a player of his ability you'd expect him to piss all over players in teams at this end of the table. There should really be a clear difference in quality between our lads and there's, and I don't think anyone, bar maybe Rashford has earned a 7/10 so far.

We have the better players, we are the better team and we get to halftime with the score reflecting that.

It has not been plain sailing though. Forest's had moments, for sure. We started really strongly. However, I think the players started to find it too easy. They lost focus and that allowed Forest to score the offside goal. After that we played a bit punch drunk. Forest got a spurt of confidence, we lost a bit of belief and it became a bit up and down.

Hopefully that Weghorst goal has killed their spirits. It would be good to get a third early in the second half. Just to make next week's tie a bit of a non-event. Would allow Ten Hag to rest and rotate more players tonight, at the weekend and in the return leg.
