Dont necessarily disagree but the drop in quality is also fairly remarkable. Lingard, McT and Fred. I dont mind McT and Fred as squad players but still there is a drop in quality and players who don't play together much.

This is what watching this does to my brain.Can definitely see the deadwood in the team.
Shaw, Lingard definitely, Mata is too slow and not penetrative enough.
The wings are awful.
Fred too many misplaced passes but a severe lack of movement, followed by a lack of people who can pick a pass (obviously ignoring Fernandes here).
Multiple times Fernandes makes a run and gets frustration over not being picked out.The trouble with Ole having our best players on the bench is his slowness to make subs, if we are struggling which we are will he be quick to make changes or wait until the game goes away from us
He’s just not that good. Better than the very low bar he initially set but still not good enough to be starting for Man United. It was a joke that there was debate over whether him or Pogba should play. Fred should be below Matic in the pecking order too.£37m was spent on Mata. I've seen boy band members put in better performances in charity games.When will Ole finally realise that Lingard is nowhere near good enough and hasnt been for two seasons now. He belongs in League One imo.

New contract incoming with Ole saying that Jesse is red through and through, positive person etc....It’s nothing to do with systems or cohesion or time to gel... it’s pretty simple... the quality of some of our squad is so far below elite level it’s hard to comprehend. And the fact that so many of these players have featured so heavily over recent years is why we have been so mediocre.
