I don't believe for a second that teams like this Newcastle, Brighton or Spurs have comparatively better players than us. They're just better positioned by their manager's to succeed, whilst ours has seemingly given up and has resorted to route one antics that he doesn't even know how to do. He's not a great defensive coach, he's not great at orchestrating a transition either and its showing.

You’re being hugely generous to some of these players.

Ten Hags tactics and selection yes but marking, effort, tracking, etc from professional players is 100% on them

You actually do need to partially coach effort, people don't put 100% in unless they are always motivated naturally or have incentives. Rashford and maybe one or two others aside, the rest are running and trying. The system is letting them down. Also, we don't have the better players, these teams are very evenly matched. Newcastle is just a much better coached side.
