    The damage caused by having him and his staff coach these players for three years was never going to be easily undone. That's why many people wanted rid after or even much before the Europa final.
     
    Rashford has everything ability-wise to be so amazing - it just seems like he doesn't focus, like always a few seconds behind

    Exactly. Varane might have lost the ball but Newcastle still had work to do to actually get the ball in the net.
     
    It took 20 minutes for Rashford to be moved out wide. Hopefully the end of that godawful strike partnership.

    I can make a judgement on what I see so far, and right now nothing has changed.

    I don’t think the formation is working either, that’s a bigger worry.
     
    Donny must actually be gash in training. How can Fred and Mctominay keep any other PL midfielder who isn't past it out the team!?

    Maguire is terrible, Varane makes a mistake but Maguire should got for the first header and then not show Maxim the inside.
     
    Rashford shouldn’t be in the team, but if he’s going to be he should never play on the right, he can’t do it. We have Sancho on the bench walking him run up the byline and give it away.
     
    Our midfield is incapable of controlling games even against the weakest opposition. Just shit themselves at the first sign of pressure.

    And that's not hyperbole. Anderson and Cleverly never made the mistakes we see these players make game after game. The only thing consistent about this team is every couple games someone is gonna make a dumb decision to concede a goal. Academy players looks like experienced players compared to these lot. Sell everyone one of them minus CR7, Bruno & Greenwood.
    This lackadaisical, carefree, lack of focus of approach to the game is unacceptable. You loose games from time to time but be professional. These lot are not. I hate saying players don't care but from what I see they don't care. If I was being paid that amount I would be playing hard every minute and I would take the game seriously.

    He’s been in poor form for as long as Martial has been, and his overall G/A for their respective time here is only marginally in Rashford’s favour. It’s a lot closer between them than many would imagine.
