What happened at half time? Changes? Formation?
At least we havent played about 100 crosses in this match. That was bad.
You do realise we are playing MK Dons?A lot of players have played poorly tonight, but the likes of Powell and Pereira (who I think has looked bright since coming on) NEED good players around them such that they can relax, take time on the ball and play their natural game.
In this instance however, all of our players are so devoid of confidence and as such are playing woefully, which in turn means that our younger players (who are already nervous as they are trying to impress) are of course, going to have shockers because they are 1) not comfortable in their surroundings and 2) scared as they are trying to impress and failing as the players around them are playing horribly too. A young player cannot win a game by himself and needs class players alongside him to allow for confidence to be culminated and therefore, a good game to be played by the individual.
The point i'm trying to make is you can't say 'this youth player' is having a shocker tonight and is therefore a poor player - because it's not representative of his potential or his normal style of play - which is what makes them so exciting. Put Pereira or Powell in against Burnley next to Herrera and our other starting XI and their performance will (normally) look much better.
Having said this....even our first team is playing terribly at the moment, so probably not the best time to introduce our younger players.
I won't go on my phone for a week if we lose this one. Ffs unbearable atm.
We've had 0 shots on target against a team two divisions below. The players need to know they're not trying hard enough
Give the big man up there a shout, Herman!lol, it truly is the most dire football I've seen in my life. This lot need to go and play in the Conference.
Whatever the formation, we would still be as sh*t as we are now.Are we still playing that hopeless 5-3-2 formation?
