Well there was definitely two outfield players behind Martial, I think the keeper was ahead of him trying to stop Memphis.Awful half from us. On paper, we really should be controlling the game, especially with our midfield three. Everythings too safe, and theres no tempo in our game at all. That said, the movement ahead of the two holders isnt great.
We've also been awful off the ball. We look so disjointed. We're not pressing as a unit, we're leaving too much space in the middle and its way too easy to catch us on the counter. Not just today, but its been an ongoing problem for a while. The chance they had from a counter is ridiculous. We need to buck up our ideas because this isnt good enough. I mean, we're not even keeping possession well.
Second half we need to play at a quicker tempo.
