fatigue is going to be a major factor if we don't score in first half.I was almost certain we'd play three at the back today given the lack of first-choice midfield players available and a plethora of fit defenders (complete reverse of previous seasons). The only real surprises for me are Rojo omitted despite being in his best form, and Mkhitaryan out for Lingard. I suspected Martial would be on the bench, at least we have two or three good options to come on this way.If this is a three at the back...

I have to say that back 5 looks very good to me, on paper. Valencia and Young are made for wingbacks at this point of their career. And with having no decent wingers, might as well play without any. The quality of the personnel in midfield and attack worries me slightly, not so much the formation or the back 5. But we should be good enough to win here.

Apart from the fact that none are any good at playing on the ball? It's sort of important if you sacrifice a midfielder for an extra defender. The only players it really supports in our squad are the wingbacks.
