Probably is Lingard where Mata is but interesting side.

WOW....Ralf absolutely taking the piss here with that bench

Lineup isn't as shocking outside of Matic looks like he is playing CB which should be an interesting experiment given he's slower than balls

fuking love that bench....i hope all 5 of the young lads get to play

Makes a change from Ole picking a strong side for a nothing game

What the feck is that lineup!

Who on earth is going to play in the pivot? Obviously Van de Beek, but seeing as Matic will most likely be in defence, who will play next to VdB? Interesting stuff!

I picked 9. Out of 11. Matic must be a CB ? I put Mengi in . He's on the bench so. Maybe Mata comes off Matic goes there and Mengi CB ? Maybe. The good thing is how to work thus guy out? Old regime you could pick 11 out of 11 most games. Let's see how these go.

    Henderson

    AWB - Bailly - Shaw

    Mata - Matic - VDB - Lingard

    Amad - Greenwood - Elanga
We could be lining up like that.

that or lingard as a left back potentially?

    AWB Bailly Shaw Lingard
    Matic VDB
    Mata Amad
    Greenwood Elanga

or maybe it's Lingard or Mata sitting with VDB in midfield, not really sure but should be fun to see.

Looking forward to seeing Mata press

Can't help but feel a youth player should be playing ahead of him

Last (only) time I saw Matic, Mata, VDB and Amad occupy our midfield areas it was one of my most enjoyable United performances for a long time. Played some beautiful, technical football - so I’m hoping for more of the same tonight.

Must be a bit mad for Robbie Savage to be commentating if his son gets a run out tonight, must be a crazy proud moment.
Why crazy? It would be a good moment, hopefully the guy actually does get a debut, even if for a few minutes

    Could be this

    Hendo
    Bissaka - Bailly - Matic - Shaw
    VDB - Mata
    Diallo - Lingard
    Greenwood - Elanga

But I won't be surprised if its Bissaka at CB and one of the more attacking players at RB.

Wow what a lineup! I'll be impressed if any actually manages to correctly what the formation will be and who will be where!

It could even be a 3142, with a back 3 of Shaw, Bailly and AWB with Matic just in front. Even if it were feck knows how the front 6 would be positioned though.

I was thinking similar. AWB might be too limited to play rightback/wingback for Rangnick - could perhaps see Lingard there. Maybe a 3-4-3, something like:

    Henderson

    AWB Bailly Matic

    Lingard Donny Mata Shaw

    Amad Greenwood Elanga

God that line up is a far cry from mr dna ole who would have likely had us playing with about 6 defensive players on the pitch and stupidly fielding a load of his regular 11 players

Maybe we’ll play with three at the back? 3-1-2-2-2. Maybe giving Mata a go at left back and Shaw central… I’ve no fecking idea…

That bench  This will be fun!

    Henderson

    AWB - Bailly - Shaw

    Mata - Matic - VDB - Lingard

    Amad - Greenwood - Elanga
We could be lining up like that.
Yep. I thought of something similar

3-2-3-2. It's like a 4-2-3-1, but with an extra striker.

    AWB - Bailly - Shaw
    VDB - Matic
    Amad - Mata - Lingard
    Greenwood - Elanga

I'm not sure who is going to playing the deeper 2, Lingard and Van de Beek maybe? And is Matic playing CB? :nervous: we've got nothing on the bench so it's up to the starting 11, excited to see Mason, Amad and Elanga.

I personally love it. Although it will be very disjointed. Dont care. I love how our bench is just youngsters, who will all get a run out IMO.

Wish Sancho was playing, cuz I would love to see VdB, Amad, Sancho and Mata link up.

Mejbri would have got a game for sure

Can't imagine that lineup is for anything other than fitness and experimental purposes, and we may well lose, but it should be interesting whatever the case.

full rotation, and it includes youth & experienced ....love it...

dead rubber so no pressure ...whatever the result I appreciate RR resting those who played vs Arsenal & CP
