He'll need to figure out how to get them quicker out of the blocks. Always so slow getting going. Decent teams usually have to score to wake our lot up!

think the whole new midfield took time to work. But Wigan also made it tough by battling in midfield and defending so well.

As the match progressed and Bastian took charge, we got the job done.

Good result but that first half was dire. Glad Shaw, Martial, and Basti got a game.

Only got 7 points in prediction league but managed to climb 30 some points to 60 in the process.

Yeah well it don't automatically mean a starting place today. A restless player? Young is solid defensively, solid enough for such a match.
In today's game, I think it would. Anyhow, restless was referring to the transfer market.
"I'm not happy at all if he leaves but he is the only player that I was informed there would be a possibility of him leaving, that's why I didn't play him, that's why I gave chances to other people because I don't know if he's going to stay with us. If I could choose, yes definitely, he will stay with us." (Mourinho on Young)

That Fellaini and Schweinsteiger were starting together in a 2 man midfield.

No because I selected both in my predicted starting line up. It's the most logical rotation. Experienced players who know what it takes. Once I saw Wigan lay off the players until they went past the halfway line, it was only a matter of time.

Just because it's logical doesn't mean it's something you're happy to see though, does it?

The fact is that if you offered every poster on here the chance to see a Fellaini/Schweinsteiger midfield 2 in any match ever again, you'd be hard pressed to find anybody who'd say yes.

But they would not start just any match to begin with. This was the match for them to play. It worked and the belief or reaction that it would immediate implode is poor. I'm happy with any opportunity to watch United. Anything can happen, good, bad or indifferent. I'm happier that they both made many match day posters humbled and quieted.

Yeah sure, i'm happy if they do well. But if Fellaini had given away another penalty with the elbows of doom, you can't tell me you'd have come on here all high and mighty saying that you were happy to see them picked, and are merely sorry it didn't work out. It's all well and good with hindsight, but the fact is many here winced when they saw that midfield pairing.

"Wince" is putting it mildly for me.
I've had to stop myself from watching united when bog brush starts, so just followed the general updates on bbc then started watching once he went off.

Got a lot of flak on what's app from friends when he scored!

Jose is doing something really good here, the philosophy is totally changed, no boring performance any more and step by step we are getting our fear factor back. Coming next season we should be challenging on title, now the board should think about giving the man more than 3 years.

Don't you love how Smalling has to position himself correctly behind the ball before he passes it? He can't just simply knock it somewhere... He has to move his whole body so it's facing the way he wants to pass.

This is the sort of thing I am concentrating on today.

Yeah and it's an embarrassing liability. What about that weird bird mating dance he does when the ball is in the air and bounces in an attempt to fend off imaginary predators while he struggled to get it under control
