I still dislike that whole 'kicking the ball out because a player is injured and then having to give it back to them' thing. The ref should be the one to decide if the game should be stopped or not. That's literally what they're there for.

Other sports have stoppages and competent use of video assistant referees. Not football. Stuck in old ways and will never evolve.
