If he hadn't have been brought down, Martial would have kept dribbling the ball up the steps of the Stretford End. He was nowhere near looking like shooting.

If the ref deems it to be a genuine attempt to win the ball then yes.

You can still get a red if there's no attempt to get the ball.

He had a higher pass completion than Rooney in oneof our biggest PL games in LvG's last season. He's really declined in that aspect but I wonder if it's also the coaching.
