We don't need 3 CBs plus 2 DMs against West Ham at home. Unless, as I said earlier, you're instructing the wingbacks to actually operate as wingers. But then in that case you need a plan to stop them getting dragged into fullback positions by West Ham's wide men.

Fred isnt a DM. McTominay isnt a DM. Both box to box. Instructing them to stay deep is a choice not a must.

Fred is very good. Keeping it simple and through balls. After a long time I am seeing a Man Utd player unlocking midfield with simple through passes.

Lingard is championship player. No ball control whatsoever.

And, Mata cannot play for a club like Man Utd. Apart from his contribution for penalty he has done nothing. Fred is outshining him clearly. He needs to go and let McT play behind Fred.
