Think they took offence to his missed chances for some reason, but I also wanted to go for him, but Mkhi played very well too!

And he was also totally behind the missed chance from Martial, and the Schweinsteiger shot, and Rooneys header, and almost every chance. Mkhitaryan, Rooney and Martial was great, but Zlatan was a level higher than everyone imo.So @Lucky McLuckerson strikes again! Keep it up bro!

I think plenty of bad decision making in the first half from Zlatan, Martial, Rooney and Mkhi. Zlatan in the second half barely put a foot wrong.
Mkhi was great, but stil. Zlatan almost created every chance. Including Martials miss and Martials second goal. Strange.
In some way i think people are underestimating his performances. If anyone else played as well as Zlatan did today they would most definitely be the man of the match.

Pity about not keeping the clean sheet - was a poor save from De Gea, but impressed the team didn't let their heads go down for the 2nd half, the West Ham goal was perfectly timed for them.
Now, if Mkhitaryan doesn't start against Everton, then that is incredulous. The man has laser guided passes, sadly his shots seem to be laser guided towards an opponents foot (but that's not much of a problem). Two great assists today and could have had a goal or two. Start. Him.
As a side note, the pass from Valencia to Mkhitaryan to set up the second goal should be getting uploaded to PornHub anytime soon.
Martial, happy for him. He looked like the Martial from last season - taking men on and running at them, very good to see and he looked visibly relaxed at the end of the game.
Must say I laughed out loud when I heard the cheers for Bastian overtime he touched the ball, and the vociferous 'SHOOOT' when he had an opportunity on the edge of the box. Great stuff.
Overall solid performance and great we drew Hull for the semi's. A cup's a cup after all.

Mk dons I remember, LVG booted almost everyone who played that game from the club.Just finished watching this. I know it's only a cup match, but for me, the most satisfying game all season. The pieces are all there. Miki is going to play a critical part in where we finish in the league table. We were entertaining and showed our quality. Happy for Ibra, Miki, Rooney, Martial, Carrick, and of course Schweinsteiger. BFS may be past it, but he's a fecking legend. How many games have there been the past several seasons where the lads were actually smiling at the end? Hopefully we'll be able to use this and push on.Last edited:
