Good win. Professional effort. What a strike by lingaard. Changed the whole complexion of the game. wba deserve feck all from this match. I don't give a toss if berahino missed a point blank header. That would have been a huge injustice. The cnuts came here to defend and got what they deserved. Zero.
Martial once again the difference maker. Should have let him take the penalty. Mata did the sum of toss all on that right wing for the who knows how many consecutive match in a row. Him and Rooney are just detrimental to our attack. They offer nothing in terms of pace or precision. Now neither can even find the back of the net. Both should be dropped. Surely Depay/Young couldn't be worse on the wing.
Excellent defending once again. Our midfield protected the back four brilliantly. BFS was all over the place as usual but couldn't really provide the penetrating pass. Carrick was hit and miss with his passing too but both defended well.Great result. Ok performance.

If you mean he keeps possession well and can pass the ball backwards/sideways accurately then yes.
If you are talking about offering penetration or some form of a goal threat then I have to disagree. He is easy to mark and cannot beat a defender. Play him centrally or not at all IMO. Except that will never happen as long as Wayne Rooney is still at this club.
Don't forget that Mata was partly responsible for that Berainho free header too. Clearly just let him run into the box unchecked. Not the best workrate at getting back and defending. 6/10. Was OK in the first and setup Mata well enough but drifted out of the game in the second half and gave the ball away on a couple of occasions. Better than the usual we've seen this season but nothing to get excited about.- Status
