    I've not been as confident of a win since before the Norwich game in December. Better not get my hopes up too much.

    I had it bang on, and then read some genius on here saying he'll probably start Darmian on the left so I took Tofu out.

    Also, we are in danger of building a side of footballers who are far too good looking to be effective and successful.

    I can feel that there is a lot of good vibes on here about that team selection, so I'll try and dodge the shit that could be thrown my way but I just realised that Carrick isn't even on the bench and that bench looks very, very short of experience, let's hope we don't end up chasing the game.

    LVG really does not rate McNair does he, to go with two left footers at centreback, utter blasphemy for him usually.

    The under 21's are going for the title, it would be unfair on that team to take every player, they played last night they needed some of the better players in there. Adnan and Pereira are keeping that side going, because they play in positions that have good cover in the first team.

    Its all a compromise because of so many injuries.
     
    Jesus, if Fosu is at centreback that's even more of a damning indictment on McNair.
     
    Very happy with the first 11. Good to see that Varela has kept his place, he's been excellent.
     
    - Martial, Memphis and Rashford. Oh good lord, I'm giddy. The pace.....
    - Setting ourselves up for a massive fall of course. Whenever we get excited about the line-up, it always goes to shit.
    - That back four looks as dodgy as feck tbh, so at least it should make for an exciting game.
    - I like the midfield three of Mata, Herrera and Schneiderlin. Nice blend.
     
    Other teams will be sick with MMR in front of them.
