Agreed. Apart from the start of this season where we were beating teams 4-0 overall our football was much better last season we just weren't clinical enough. This season has been the opposite. Hopefully we find that balance next season.

. Like you say, let's hope that a rest over the summer gives us a rejuvenated Sanchez for next season.

I'm not hopeful though, as this God awful style that Mourinho has us playing does not benefit any attacking player on the planet.

It wasn't really better, we were chasing goals for 90 minutes because we couldn't finish.
They were more panicked second halves than great football.

I'm trying to figure out why Carrick hasn't been involved in more games this year. I know he had health problems earlier in the season but he's been cleared for ages now. He might not be the option for the big matches, but seeing him today reminds me of how good he can be to unlock defenses of some of the smaller clubs. Especially those that we dropped points to this year...

I think the issue is we have too many players who do need that extra push. A few is okay but i think it's more than that
