Not to shame you or any other fan here but let me explain to you, how to detect a good coach..
Its very simple...
1. He has a sustainable playing style. No matter how poor it may be. See I have not said good or attractive or attacking style... Just a style which is scalable and sustainable.
2. The style is scalable.. That you can improve the style by buying other players to upgrade this style. And the players need to play this kind of style are not scarce. In that any random Tom and Dick can play this style, because 99% of footballers are in the same playing abilities range. All can pass, run with the ball, shot etc. So remove Messi kind of talent then almost all Players are in the same range of talent.
Problem, with ETH, which I have said it severally is.
1. He's playing the Ole style which is, was and will be unsustainable and unscalable. The Bruno over the top ball to Rashford will never be scalable because you need a Rashford and Bruno forever in prime, while the other 9 players are not them. So it becomes a looking for black cup in a dead dark room.
2. This Bruno over the top ball to strikers football can never be upgraded.. Because what and how do you upgrade it? Buying 10 more Brunos? Or Rashford? No.
This is why I have said it severally, we can buy even 8 more Yoro type of talent, but with ETH and Bruno here we will never achieve anything. Because, the style is not going to improve with more polar opposite talents.
Solutions
Has been either get a Coach who will bin off Bruno, not because Bruno is a bad person but because he's the epitome of this flawed style.
ETH needed to fizzle out Bruno and this playing style but he decided to stick to it, throw 600m to it. What else to do you expect.
I guarantee you, if we get a sober coach who will bin off this playing style, In 2 years we can win the league. Arteta did it. We just need to be courageous enough to sack ETH has he has been timid in changing how we play.4-0 at least I reckon. Our game plan is now hopeful long balls where we'll inevitably lose possession and watch Tottenham carve us open.
