    feels like one of those Wenger games against a Utd or Chelsea where everyone knows they're going to get demolished on the counter but he still has his team walk right into it. Having said that, 3-1 Sancho brace

    I hate beeing negative before a match we have every chance to get something from. But I just don't see it happening with those players. It will be a tough match where we have to work hard to get a result. We will have to be careful in possession, and Conte will set his team up to counter our flaws.
    In light of that, a team of Rashford, Pogba, Ronaldo and Maguire just doesn't fill me with confidence. If things get real, I don't see them pulling it together and guiding us through a tough match.

    Unlike you I don't have the ability to read people's minds that well I guess.

    I've seen nothing in Rashford that makes me think he feels he is above everyone else at United or that he can't be bothered to try.
     
    4 average defenders on the bench. And Mata and Lingard. Is United not allowed to have youngsters on the bench instead?
     
    Nothing to play here at least seeing Hannibal on bench would have been nice.

    Your opinion on whether you think we should keep him or not is fine, however, I was asking for solid evidence as to whether the comments he made were true.
     
    Damn Fernandes being out is a big loss, especially with Atletico during the week. They're saying he's sick so if he's got covid he's out for that game too surely. Big shame about Elanga being out too. One of our few bright spots recently. Hard to predict this game so I'll refrain from doing so as the opposite of what I expect happens recently.

    I guess you haven't been watching any matches then, seeing as there have been instances of him blatantly not bothering to chase the ball when he should have

    Well, actually, it does. The initial post that I replied to states that Rashford shouldn't be played (i don't think he should be starting on current form anyway) if he asked to leave. Therefore, I asked for confirmation of that, as it could be bs!

    Lo and behold, he is starting today, so you have to be careful what to believe. Last week, people were saying Ronaldo asked not to play and he and RR fell out. This week, it's something else.....

    As I said before, it may be the case Rashford has asked to leave, but it would be nice if we as fans didn't believe everything we see in the media, because lets face it, 9 times out of 10, it normally is nonsense.

    Agree with this totally. We've all seen the level of our players, why people suddenly expect Fred to morph into a world beater because of new training methods is madness. We have a bunch of journeyman players, some that are past it, and one or two prospects.
     
    We should beat that spurs team fairly easily, but again we shouldn’t be as low in the table as we are. Hopefully we decide to show up.
     
    Must win today. Can’t see the scenario if which we finish fourth if we drop points today, especially handing them over to Spurs.

    Team news is odd. A lot of chopping and changing. Difficult to get in Rangnick’s head right now. Not sure who stitched Luckhurst up with Henderson. Thankfully we have Pogba to aid the loss of Bruno.

    Well, if you can’t see he doesn’t even run to come back to defend then I am sorry for you. Elenga is running 10 times more then the guy. Nothing to do with reading minds.
     
    Maguire again instead of Lindelof. Ridiculous how he is protected just because he is a captain
