If we lose Martial being out will give Ole another excuse to hide behind as its "yet another injury." I swear Martial is made of glass

I reckon Ole will go ultra defensive as the heat while he doesn't believe it is, has been turned up ever so slightly so a draw will cover up some of the questions being asked of him

That quote Is very Moyes like, wonder if he will say Tottenham are favourites or the level we are aspiring to....

    Very Moyesian

I dunno...he’ll get shit for that but he’s not exactly wrong. He’ll have taken something from the fact they didn’t let their heads drop and give up. It is a young side after all, and although we might judge them against previous sides we’ve had, it doesn’t change the fact they aren’t. It’s definitely a positive, anyway.

Desperately hope we win this. I understand why they are favourites but they are well beatable and just hope we have Scott back and we get a bit of control in midfield then no reason why we can’t win it

I hate this but I'm happy to lose if it means getting Poch. Fortunately the players probably agree.

    I don't think anyone is arguing that it's not a factual statement. It's just a bit...pathetic, really.

I am glad that Mctominay plays and that there is no Pereira. Hopefully Greenwood can take his chance here up front.

Jose will outsmart Ole as far as tactics go. Our depleted MF and attack will mean we have to defend for large spells and Spurs have a very good attack. If we manage to hold them off we might get lucky on the counter which Spurs are capable of letting in goals as recent results show.

I don't have any issues with the lineup selection. I think Fred is rubbish but there's not much we can do about it for this game.

I don’t buy all this Jose tactically out smarting ole. I think ole has tactically been quite good to be honest andJose is not what he was. Man for a man they are far better than us though so it’s going to be a tough one
