Maybe it's due to the fact that both are ex United players and they have an emotional connection with us. On a side note, you could tell that goal means a lot to Rooney. I'm glad he finally broke his goal drought.

Poor first half. I think the final straw was his pass towards Falcao in the last seconds of the half. Falcao was marked to the right, Young absolutely free to the left. Would have been a clear cut chance.

I haven't read about any big decisions up to that penalty. It was a penalty, but then he did mess up rather.
