I think it's gonna be the same team that played against Derby, but with Carrick for Morgan.

Also their squad will get a lift from the signing of Imbula.

Some of their midfielders will start looking over their shoulders and know they have to perform.

Don't know why, but just can't see a victory tonight without a pen or big decision going our way.

I wonder how the atmosphere at OT will be tonight after the Pep to City news, if it's anything like here then I imagine it will be very hostile to say the least.

Can't see us losing, Stoke have hit a bad patch, unlikely to get the self inflicted chances they got at Stoke.

Comfortable 2-0, a goal before half-time to calm the nerves and most players to perform a lot better than against Southampton.

It will be nothing like in here.

But this game is tonight, so will you be giving it your full attention?

I'm at work today. Live in the US now. Midweek I have to watch it on my computer in a clandestine fashion. But today I won't bother. I got ahead of myself with my rant. Already talking about the weekend. I meant to imply it when mentioning work schedules.

I don't think think the fans will have it in for LVG from the start but the first sign of trouble and he will wish he hadn't come.

I must say that in bleak times like these, it's comforting to have the Caf to turn/rant to. Working in an office full of Americans, no one fecking gets it

I know, however if we do start slowly (which is very probable) I can see the crowd turning hostile.

Yeah will be interesting to see, Let's hope we absolutely stuff them and we don't find out.

    Best of luck guys!

I've put Carrick to come in for Schneiderlin as the only change, but it'll probably be the same team we saw against Derby.

    Flanelli
    Flagella-Flopanni-Feghani-Fellayni
    Fellaini-Fellarni
    Fellabot-Maroune-Phil Annie
    Rooney

    That's LVGs B Team.

    This is LVG's A Team:

    Rooney
    Rooney-Rooney-Rooney-Rooney
    Rooney-Rooney
    Rooney-Fellaini-Rooney
    Rooney

Why the fecking feck is the game not on fecking UK TV?

Really annoys me how so many English games don't even show on English television. I understand that the rights were bought etc, but surely there could be a way that people that spend hundreds a year on football channels get to see all the english games in the country.

Easier for us in the US to watch than Brits. Funny that.

And now Fox is showing the Bundesliga too.

Memphis really needs game time. I know he's been utterly terrible all season, but a few sub appearances or something. I guess he's not doing it in training if he's not being selected, though.

With Martial doing great on the left wing and Rooney finding some goalscoring form, Memphis will find it very hard to get back into the team. The best he can hope for at the moment, as you said, is sub appearances.

With regards to Memphis, it just seems that our style play does not suit him.
He was able to score many goals last season for a different team, but for us, he is constantly losing possession and making failed attempts and going past his man.

In the last game he started, I think he gifted the opposition a goal. Have I got that right?
I haven't seen him start a game since. He did come on as a sub, though.

Try saying philosophy or process in the office with a straight face because I sure can't anymore.

I think it just comes down to the fact that he's not as good as people thought he was.

It's still early days and he could definitely become a good player for us, but playing well in the Netherlands doesn't mean a player will be successful in a much more competitive league.

I'd be so much higher on the lineup competition if i played with my head and not my heart.
I wont start Fellaini even if he's our only non-injured player.

    No lineups leaked yet?

Darmian is back in the squad for tonight's game. Wonder if he gets the nod ahead of Varela. On form, you'd have to say Varela deserves to start.

I picked Varela to start, and Darmian on as substitute.
Doubt both Varela and Borthjack will play 90 minutes.

They've had the last few right, as far as I can recall. Darmian is the surprise there. Fellaini is the joke. Good to see Carrick back, but would have been better partnered with Schneiderlin.

The mop in midfield and Mata as the #10 are disappointing, surprised Darmian is back already.

In other words, you've just got the same info we did from a different source. Pftt.

Carrick/Schneiderlin is too defensive, in my opinion. Fellaini gets forward well and is very good in both boxes.
