It feels like I haven't watched a match in about 20 years. Is Fellaini fit and is Young still banned?

What are the chances that we will be unveiling Sanchez and Ozil before the kick off?

I see, and is he some hot shot manager?
I've honestly never heard of him, so assume he has never managed in the EPL.
I think he's shit, but he's one of those who seems to have an incredible agent, like Roberto Martínez.

No excuses for not beating this pub team. Although we managed to drop points at home to Southampton the other week.

Professional performance needed. 3 points and nothing less.

Any sort of win, get it done, just to keep it honest in case City are brewing up some kind of wobble.

Can't wait for the game. I meant look at the front page of this forum, it's as if it's no longer Manchester United forum. More talk about other stuff than anything about us.

Not enjoying it as a fan, but perhaps, for our players, they have some time off the pressure. Hope for a comfortable win.

This would be a perfect time for a big win with good football being played throughout.

    De Gea
    Valencia--Smalling--Jones--Shaw
    Matic--Pogba
    Lingard
    Mata--Lukaku--Martial

    or 4-3-3

It's so frustrating to think that if we had won the VERY winnable games vs Leicester, Saints and Burnley, and provided we beat Stoke tomorrow, we would only be 6 points behind City - title race would be back on. I think the City game seriously hurt the players - they seemed to have threw the towel in.

Anyway, expect a 3 points and the strongest possible lineup. Players should be fresh.

DDG, Lindelof, Smalling, Jones, Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Mata, Rashford, Lukaku

... though I would play a midfield three ... including Herrera instead of Rashford.

Didn't know Stoke had Roger Moore as their caretaker manager

FFS if that's true then FFS

3 points is a must. City have slipped. We're extremely unlikely to catch them but closing the gap by 3 points and beating them to Sanchez will give us a mental boost, the kind of boost required to help us make the impossible, possible.

I am lucky to know people in my life who've achieved excellence. There is a lot of hard work that goes into that, but none of it matters with this ridiculous ambition and self confidence that is in each of those people.

What's happened to Martial? We haven't played for 10 days and he came on late against Derby. He should be fully fit. Everyone apart from Bailly, Zlatan should be fit.

I think stoke will be their usual lunging selves, refs letting loads of fouls go because its stoke, but also dangerous on the counter now and then, so not an easy game. But we should have more than enough later on tonight at OT.
I cant wait either, I hope we play Pogba and Lingard linking up on the left again. Matic should be right up for this now he has had some much needed recuperation.
Now IS the time to put a run together if its possible, we have Liverpool level on points but we have this game in hand..must win is not the word. Liverpool are going to be feeling pretty confident after convincingly stopping city, so we need to beat Stoke tonight, any way we can!
    Come on united!

Hope to see the 4-3-3 that worked really well at Everton. Martial a doubt but Valencia back, so:

Great to finally have the bloody chance to cut the points deficit a bit!

Sometimes players get knocks and strains man. Better to protect him if he isn't 100%.

Need to be pragmatic with this one. Solid 1 or 2 nil win. This is their cup final and regardless of form they'll play their hearts out against us.

Very cryptic of Mourinho just saying "he's not ready".

Expecting everyone else to be fully ready after their Dubai holiday. Surely it should've given our players a great diversion and improved team spirit. Would be both surprised and very disappointed if tomorrow's game ends up being a tight affair.

In before he's included as part of the deal to bring Alexis Sanchez in and that's why he doesn't play tomorrow

    Incoming panic

Agree with this and would add that the 3 points are essential to keep some distance from the teams following us. after all Chelsea/Arsenal slipped so we have to just get the 3 points. Nothing less is good.
