5-4-1/5-3-2 sort of with CBJ and Lingard as wing backs, Darmian a CB and Martial as a wide inside forward. Mata has shown himself to be a quality player which is why he has no excuse. Lingard, on the other hand, is having his debut season with us and has arguably been more of a threat than Mata.
I just think the team has been poorer at keeping possession. Rooney is up top instead of Martial, Mata is on the bench and Fellaini and Lingard are playing with Schweinsteiger and Carrick out.
