I think Ralf will stick with the same selection vs Burnley, and Ronaldo to start ahead of Cavani.

Not optimistic today. Hopefully we can score goals today, if not, we lose this, Southampton are in good form recently.

is he another Glazier corporate puppet? Surely Rangnick doesn't think Maguire deserves to start ahead of Lindelof on footballing reasons?! Lindelof was a beast before having to go out of the team due to personal reasons! Lindelof is a much better passer than Maguire too in setting up attacks from the back too and passing in between the lines which is EXACTLY what we need to beat the Southampton Press! Ball-playing centre-backs.

you just know if Maguire plays he will have a brain-fart against the Southampton Press. That's on Rangnick as the manager for starting him ahead of Lindelof.

What's your issue with Dalot?

McFred has looked good under Rangnick, relatively. Mctominay especially, who's arguably been our most consistent performer over the last month.

As for the CB problem, why not give Jones another runout? He put in a MotM performance in his last outing, only to be dropped to the bench next game when Maguire become available.

It's risky and I'm sure it will never happen but I'd prefer to try Lindelof as the defensive midfielder. Much better defensively than McTominay, better defensive discipline and pretty good on the ball. Would probably hide his main weaknesses at CB which he is slow and a bit weak.

It stopped being about Utd for me since I don't get much joy about them anymore. I play amateur football and I watch as much as I can from European football
