    The only issue I've seen with Garnacho is a nervous first touch. You can tell he's green. You can also tell he has something more. Can't wait for that! Overall, been very impressed with him.

    Dalot's goal was very nice.

    Positioning has been weird during this game. Dalot's been on the front line as much as he's been in our back line, which has really been in the opponent's half. I'd almost bet Lindelof's average position has been in the final third.
     
    If Antony had pulled off the pass after the pirouette, Ill bet the grumpy mob saying he should be subbed would be blowing off in their pants. :lol:
     
    Garnacho has to get more chances. Garnacho has the talent. Now he must have the chances and the confidence in matches against the slightly smaller teams, or when we have got comfortably ahead.

    Against these teams who put 11 behind the ball it's very important to get that first goal from any sort of chance. I thought we wouldn't get it in the first half after that missed sitter. Thank you Diogo for proving me wrong.

    I thought we did well enough. It's never easy playing against park the bus tactics. Still created a golden chance. The one complaint I have is that we were too slow on transitions. Only Casemiro seemed like he wanted to get things going quickly. We need to be better at them as we are bound to get more as Sheriff try to get something.

    Lindelof has done well. Martinez great as always. Garnacho looks lively and is playing with intent. But needs to use the overlap more. Ronaldo looks like a 37 year old. Bruno was anonymous for the first 20 mins but is getting into the game more. Loved Antony's skill, it made me laugh.

    This should be comfortable now that we have the first goal. But can't relax until we get the second. All it takes is one good counter.
     
    Paul Scholes just confirmed my previous post about anyone having a go at Antony for doing the spin being a boring cnut.
     
    Garnacho needs to go on the outside,try get to the byline and mix it up a little instead of cutting inside everytime.
    He has that burst of speed but needs to use it more go for it, beat your man,rinse repeat.

    I don't mind at all a bit of entertainement it's part of the game especially for brazilian players but you'd better be good on the pitch the rest of the time, otherwise it's pretty ridiculous.

    I find it really tough to get a measure of how good he is/ he can become.

    I’ve seen him make positional errors that would shame an under 14s team, but as a technical player he’s definitely got something about him.
     
    Good enough, but should be up by more. Can't score for shit. Ronaldo needs the ball to be perfectly placed at his feet within 3 yards of the goal line. Then he might score. Garnacho has done well enough I think. Not that much different to Sancho in terms of actual contribution so far, but at least he brings some energy and pace to that wing. Raw, but that is to be expected.

    Hoping the game opens up a little bit in the second half.

    He wasn't terrible, but playing the ball out of touch directly after his spin was hilarious

    Thats how it is. One of the reasons you shouldn't be fecking about at 0-0.
