I'm taking my 2 kids to this, I'm expecting a swashbuckling display of liquid football, and a glut of goals. There has to be a game where we play well over 2 consecutive halves of football.
I’m flying over with my 4 year old daughter for this one too her first time at OT.I'm taking my 2 kids to this, I'm expecting a swashbuckling display of liquid football, and a glut of goals. There has to be a game where we play well over 2 consecutive halves of football.

If we fail to score more than 3 goals here then it’s massive disappointment.
They go a few times a season so they're used to seeing us play shite. They were at the Fulham game as well and that was dire.Good luck with that Big Andy! Swashbuckling and this United team don't go hand in hand unfortunately. Hope you and your kids enjoy the game nonetheless and please god they actually play some decent football.
We'll get more injuries. I wouldn't be surprised if we have Onana in midfield for the final.ETH is playing for his job. No way the kids will start.
If we fail to concede less than 3 goals I’ll be throwing a party !If we fail to score more than 3 goals here then it’s massive disappointment.
Would it be anymore shocking than blowing a 3-0 lead to Covenbloodytry, conceding two injury time goals to a Chelsea side that generally struggle to finish their dinner, or losing to Fulham in the last minute of the game as just recent examples.Even we can't lose this game... right?
...right?
Good pointIf we fail to concede less than 3 goals I’ll be throwing a party !
"Yeah, so we had a problem with Garnacho, that's why we took him off during the game but I think he will be fine," Ten Hag said at his press conference on Tuesday.
"Scott McTominay, we have to assess today. That is really doubtful. Marcus Rashford is also doubtful and then there was an issue with Bruno Fernandes, with the hand. But I think he can make it.”
Manchester United are Coffee revels. You want the nice ones, but inevitably get the shit ones more often than not and it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.Mama always said, "watching Manchester United is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get."
Well said Mrs. Gump, let's see if we turn up and smash the worst team in the league or if we somehow make they look somewhat decent.
Should be 3 points. Should be.
That sounds ominous. You shouldn’t have any worries really. While our performances have picked up lately, this match will likely be the final nail in the coffin and the players will know it. Very weak minded and an early goal will open the floodgates.
I shall still have a nice time in Manchester though regardless of the score.

He’s got to get AWB at right back and Dalot at Left Back. Can’t see Rashford or Mctominay being fit, who starts have we got any CB’s fit, if we play kids they’ll get physically abused by a poor footballing side but they are physical. We'll get more injuries. I wouldn't be surprised if we have Onana in midfield for the final.
We don’t seem to have too many options for this. I’d go with the following, assuming we still have no other CBs, as playing a really attacking LB seems a sensible step to take for Sheffield Utd at home, when we don’t have an actual left back available:
Onana
Dalot
Maguire
Casemiro
Antony
Mainoo
Amrabat
Bruno
Amad
Hojlund
Garnacho
Yes we have. We've got a battle to secure a European spot - just not the CL. And we have a cup final to prepare for. Two important things yet to play for this season. Just because we're not competing for the PL or CL doesn't mean our season is already 'over'.We have nothing to win or lose this season.
We should not play anyone who is not likely to be here next season
Some players like AWB should not be here next season or at most as a backup
Give Bruno a rest for a couple of games to build up energy for the cup final
Onana
Diego Kingdom Willi Amass
Kobbie Amad
Mason
Williams Rasmaus or Wheatley Garnacho
Give Amad a run at 8 alongside Kobbie. He has showm he can track back, tackle and energtic. I think his best position is 10 but faces competition from Mason and Bruno
I'm not sure if the rules have changed, but from what I can remember from the old days, City will qualify for the CL, so if we win or lose the Cup Final we would be playing in the second European Competition anywayYes we have. The rules have changed. If the FA Cup winner has already qualified for Europe through league position, then the EL place goes to the highest ranked team based on league position.I'm not sure if the rules have changed, but from what I can remember from the old days, City will qualify for the CL, so if we win or lose the Cup Final we would be playing in the second European Competition anyway
Thanks for the update, so there is still a lot to play forThe rules have changed. If the FA Cup winner has already qualified for Europe through league position, then the EL place goes to the highest ranked team based on league position.
So it still indirectly helps us that we'd be losing to City, as it means an extra Euro spot to play for in that 6th-9th battle. But we still can't afford to finish too low in that otherwise we'd miss out on Europe entirely.
